Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Reminder about the upcoming Stirling meet. All are welcome to come to Stirling's Birds and The Bees, to discuss everyone's favourite share (and very probably a few other topics).
I should be there at 6pm, or shortly thereafter, in my cardigan that is a fantastic mix of daylight and radar Sentinel imagery - in knitwear! The chef would prefer if we ordered food at the same time, so if you can also advise if you plan to attend and will be eating, I will let them know how many they are catering for at 7pm.
Please note a slight change - the venue have been in touch saying we now will have a table in the restaurant area - they managed to double book the back room....
....from an old set of handwritten notes from December's TH:
Question was asked about the "anti Jimi" vote....
If you aren't an independent director the proxy advisors will always recommend voting against. SD reckoned it was the Van Eck Junior tracker that follows proxy advise slavishly that resulted in a relatively low "for" Jimi vote.
Alex Borelli would have been viewed similarly, along side a more "animated" contingent of shareholders. Votes are only once every three years for directors, so shareholders will have to bide their time before getting to "express their opinions".... in the interim Alex got given a different role.
Suspended, 1430 today.
Teetering on the rim of the plug hole.
Nrwcrest's "we can think of better ways of spending $60 million" when refusing to buy the 5% was made to look even more foolish when, within months, Lundin (another JV partner) paid back $170 million of loan..... seemingly unexpectedly to NC's bean counters.
And now we have seen the only useful purpose for this additional cash is to bung it to the shareholders as a divi.
@Tosspot, would love it if you could briefly pause the torment of your Alladale neighbour and join us in Stirling on 21st March. 6pm Birds and the Bees.... more details on GGP chat.

Next STIRLING meet - Tuesday 21st March, 6pm onwards, the Birds and The Bees in Stirling - their back room called The Lounge is booked for us.....
We should have some news to ruminate on by March I would've thought?
Let me know numbers in advance please..... and to keep the kitchen staff happy they'd prefer us to put in one order for food, I was going to suggest at 7pm to allow folks to gather.

BottleR, your time and effort are hugely appreciated.
Finally got to watch the interview with CB last night, in two attempts. After a busy few days I admit I was asleep at "bismuth halo" the first time through and woke to discover I was half way through deja vu of a five month old YouTube video wondering why the words sounded familiar.
There are some LTHs who are unlikely to even break even here unless they believe in the next life combined with the patience of a saint.
My holding was effectively utterly worthless prior to the 1:100 consolidation a couple of years ago. The only reason I'm still holding was I have the shares within an ISA and cannot therefore use this sorry tale for capital gains losses..... and it would've cost me more in trading costs than I would recoup selling.
Watching the pump and dump with bemusement.
I used to work in medical imaging, dabbling in gamma cameras / nuclear medicine. Associated with the camera was a "hot lab" where calibration sources (half life measure in months) and the doses for the patients (half life measured in hours) for the day were kept safe.
After 9/11 there was all sorts of talk about domestic terrorism and dirty bombs. Three of the local police CID rocked up in one of these imaging departments one morning and demanded to see what security was in place to stop someone breaking in and stealing some radioactive stuff. They were greeted with bemused smiles when they were told, by CID, that their door lock wasn't very secure.
"What would you do if someone set off a dirty bomb in the big shopping centre in the city centre one Saturday" the CID chap asked earnestly.
"Well, go shopping on the Sunday instead" was the response.
"You are not taking this seriously" CID said and looked stern.
"If you added up the qualifications in Physics between all three of you would you manage to even scrape an O level qualification together?" Was the response.
They looked sheepish and left, never to be seen again.....
The issue with Ben Nevis is from most angles it just gives you the hump, so all you see is a green grassy slope curving out of view - with no perception of all its 4,400ft (1,345m) glory. The juicy bit, the north / east vertical cliff face, is tucked round the side out of view unless you happen to be ambling along the ridge of the mountain to the east taking a "more scenic route" to the top - and the cliff is only 2,000 ft (630m) of vertical rock.
The other more troubling issue is I climb Scottish mountains in feet, so don't fancy having to translate Nevis-es into Australian core drill depths! Mr Eiffel made a much handier benchmark for use in a comparison.
Sunday morning amusement .....this is what happens when satellite images are repeatedly cloudy and we only have three rigs drilling.

You have to bear in mind when Shaun was last speaking about self published MREs when he was in London it was in the Biswass era.....
And he wasn't yet aware NC had shifted their routine updates from Feb to August.
With a dozen or so employees at GGP I'd prefer they focus their efforts elsewhere and let NC pick up the tab for creating an MRE2 (for them).
