Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
Hi Eddie if you've got a big portfolio you could as a last resort suggest that you'll move your custom elsewhere. But keep pushing and sound like you won't go away! You could also ask them to point out to you other ISA trades which Barclays have undertaken where their other clients have lost a similar percentage.
Hi Cheekyboy put it in writing and escalate to as high level as possible. Point out all the ISA trades over the past two days. And ask why the first trade went through below the prevailing Bid, Just keep pushing and ask for an explanation. It's very difficult to explain the indefensible.
Hi Cheekyboy Your first trade actually went through BELOW the official BID at the time which is not acceptable. It actually went through lower than the official Bid for the rest of the day. 09-Apr-18 14:37:59 10.2488 09-Apr-18 129,407 Sell* 11.00 11.45 So the trader was not paying attention. He/she then waited one full minute and a quarter before buying back again. Again not acceptable when compared to other B&I trades which go through within the half minute It looks like he/she made a mistake and has lumbered you with the cost.
Hi Cheekyboy Put it in writing either in an internal email or letter. The bods on the phone seem to be programmed to defend the company, you won't get anywhere just talking to them, I think you need the manager in charge of the dealing room. They know perfectly well the correct procedure and you should get a completely different response from them. Just point out all the B&L trades that went through Friday and today and which only lost a few hundred shares.
It did occur to me last year that they might try it on occasionally to see if they can get away with it. Some people might not know what happens if they've not done a B&I before and therefore they might not complain and then the dealers make a nice windfall.
Sorry for you Eddie! Anybody you speak to on the phone will probably say everything's fine which is what happened to me. They really don't appear to be in a position to say the company is at fault. Things are better if you make your complaint further up the food chain!
Hi Eddie I made myself unpleasant! I phoned up and complained and I think wrote everything that was wrong, down on the internal email, because I seem to remember the telephone staff are pretty useless when a trade has gone really wrong. Also, just point out to them, all the other B&Is that have gone through that day with a much better deal ie the one at 9.39 am today only lost about 400 shares.
I don't normally think 1 trades mean anything but . . .Friday's RNS did seem to come out at an odd time for good news.
That's two 1 trades today - a bit like last Thursday?
Both trades 20K so someone sold and bought back with a Bed&Isa. Looks like they got ripped off? It happened to me last year with HL when they sold at the Bid and bought back at the Ask and it took me about two weeks to get them to sort it out.
I was just wondering when AFC would be replacing him. If he had holiday entitlement to come it might explain why he only seemed to give two and a half month's notice, so physically, he left on the 29th March but paperwork wise he's still in position for one more week?
Hi BumbleB you can cut question 6, because, on thinking about it, if; the renewable energy facility is "now in the process of being constructed" [point 298] then Waverley District Council must have given planning permission for the facility some time ago, as I am sure in this instance building would not have commenced without planning permission. The fact that a term sheet was mentioned in the July 2017 RNS rather than a MOU might have indicated that planning had been granted if one had realised the significance. I'm slightly puzzled but perhaps question 6 should really be, why weren't we told that planning permission was given for a 1 - 1.5MW fuel cell heat and power system at the time of the RNS?
Hi BB, question 6 should read; As planning permission was delayed for Dunsfold Park, how will that affect the timeline for the installation of the fuel cell facility? The first 0.5 1 MW had been expected to be installed in Q4 2018.
