Just a bit odd that leaking joints weren't picked up before they completed building the system as they've had the problem in the past.

Hi BB as I've just said on the ii board I remember AFC saying that the joints leaked about 3-4 years ago, possibly around about the time of ICL something which they said they'd fixed . However, I was thinking if the new system required a total revamp and there are competitors trying to glean what AFC are doing, the recent 'joint leaks' are not necessarily the real reason, for the problem, because having had leaking joints already I can't see that that would happen again without being noticed immediately. Conspiracy upon conspiracy lol.

And I remember his predecessor also saying in 2012 that AFC would have its first sales in early 2015.

Hi BB I'm wondering if De Nora have spoken of a merger which might explain why the Chairman hasn't bought shares even though there has been ample opportunity to do so - insider knowledge. It might also explain why they don't seem fazed by a fund raise in 6 months. The new FO, if he's the bloke on LinedIn that was put up on the lse board, is a specialist in mergers and takeovers I seem to remember. We might not hear yet but I would have thought we ought to get some Stade news middle of May? If the results are good then that might give De Nora the impetus to announce their intentions.

I'm still wondering about the new FO's buy, which isn't subject to the 30 day rule.

BumbleB. Gibson's statement is a bit odd as well, in that to say that the electrodes will have a 4 year longevity when installed, they must have a pretty strong idea already that that can be achieved. I'll stick your question on the ii board.

Hi Silures I don't know whether this answers your question but Chelseabear on ii wrote in his AGM update; "4. The fuel cell IS commercial at two years, because as JIM Gibson said, by the time you install it you'll have one capable of 4 years."

I had been thinking that if the CFO bought on the 13th April but couldn't wait for the AGM before being introduced then main news could be between 13th and the 24th May which would fit in with the end of the six week run of the multi stack system at Stade.
