No movement on my site yet. I really want to sell all my holding but don't want to get hit with 2 dealing charges. Not a lot of money but it's my money. Want to put it in LLOY which although no div - yet - i consider a better mid term holding for growth.

Many thanks. A bit nasty if you are looking to dispose after div payment. A lot can happen in two weeks. Will need to rethink attitude to cash v shares.

I use Natwest for my share dealings. I opted to take my dividend as shares. These appeared on my screen Tuesday 5th at zero value . At close tonight they still show as zero value. Natwest told me last week they would not be merged with my existing holdings until today or perhaps tomorrow. Is this normal practice with reinvestments ? Or is it unique to Natwest ?

I am fairly new to stock investing and was quite surprised to find that not all share purchases attract stamp duty. Can anyone advise what criteria is used to apply stamp duty or exempt it ? Thanks in advance.
