WSO, you're welcome. It wasn't clear that you had understood intially. For reference, 2m shares in GGP equates to £36k at today's prices. It's a good-sized, risky wodge, but I wouldn't go so far as calling it rich.

But it is not my second biggest holding... What did I see of you on the BMN board - long, boring arguments with TheChartist (yes arguing would you believe?). Your banal remarks really stand out on that board, as many posters there are exceptionally well informed.

AA - I note that you make no mention of "conservative" vs "about right" - I guess you understood that. Well done.

I'm not sure if you have a few logical links missing but I'll break it down nice and simple:

1) I stated I didn't know the reason for the drop, but wasn't sticking around to find out.
2) Devils suggested a placing at 0.42p.
3) I concurred that a placing is quite possible, but made no mention of a price I thought it might be at (a bit subtle I know).
4) Finally, I said that if said placing were to happen, said 0.42p (Devil's number) looks a bit generous. Again, I have not speculated as to what the placing price would be.

Hope that's clear. If not, the you're a lost cause AA.

AA, deary me. The phrase "about right" does not equate to "conservative" - hopefully you understand that? It is pretty basic.

Ok, now that you have re-read my post and formulated you question correctly, without the 0.42p, I will answer it. As I stated yesterday, I did not have an explanation for the drop. Now, Devils has suggested there might be a placing. It's a plausible explanation, no more and no less. If it were to happen now then 0.42p looks generous. To be honest I couldn't care less. It may or may not happen (unlike last October, when it was a nailed on certainty).

Well Cookie, I was planning on leaving quietly after my post, but I popped back on and felt the love, from you and Safety et al. It rekindled fond memories of good times on here.

AA, incorrect - how on earth could it be immediate?! The company is not yet profitable. A PE of 5 is not conservative is my point - it is about right for WRES IF they can pull this off without any hiccups, one year down the line.

Ref Blackrock, northcap miton doing due diligence, being a supportive factor - it is somewhat but nothing to hang your hat on. The amount of times they get it wrong, and massively so, is astounding. Whether you'll admit it or not, I'm sure you're aware of umpteen institutional investments in small caps (and large caps for that matter), that have gone badly pear-shaped. They have a highly diversified portfolio, so it largely balances out. Not like many on here who have most of their eggs in this basket.

AA, define "numerous times" for a start! Yes, any trader worth his salt cuts his losses quickly - but then you wouldn't know anything about that. A PE of 5 would be reasonable for WRES IF we got to this time next year, fully ramped up, no hiccups and an RNS has been put out clearly stating that the company is profitable, and to what degree.

It was Devils that suggested a placing at 0.42p. I merely said that it's a possibility, and a distinct one - I've not speculated on the price. I have no current strategy for buying back in, and a placing certainly won't be the cue (as it indicates things are not going well). The chart is starting to look ropey and I'll stay out until it looks chirpy again, whoever long that is.

A PE of 5 for a startup miner, even a year in, is not conservative! Deary me, the amount of ramping drivel that goes on on this board is incredible - you've got top class miners like AAL on a PE of 5.

Devils has the right of it. And he may well be right about a placing - it would explain the unexplainable drop - a filler required perhaps as things are not quite on budget?
