Can anyone help me re the following: 1. is there any reason, apart from a collapse in oil price, to suggest a dramatic change in monthly receipts from current levels between now and June 2019?; 2) Is anyone aware of any significant change in operational practices which would affect the monthly costs of production at current levels?;3) Are there any foreseeable production costs in the next six or seven months which could adversely affect the bottom line; 4) Are there any undeclared creditors sitting in the wings about to make their claims on our cash? 5) Are there any other issues that could deplete our growing cash mountain? I only ask because if not, then shortly (c.a.six months) our cash at bank will exceed our current market cap and I'm making a bid!!!!! Oops, I've let the cat out haven't I?

Albi1, I agree. The candles shed some gloomy light on a dark place. The share priced has shed 25% in the last twenty nine trading days....why? That can't all be profit taking can it? What else has changed apart from us moving yet closer to completion. Unless you had to, why would you sell now? And Biffa, don't insult us with that arbitrage drivel you were banging on about before! I repeat, I am a significant shareholder in HUR and this is no deramping post. But unless someone comes up with a more compelling argument (please do!!) then I am driven to the inexorable conclusion that this is early stage Institutional interest. If I'm right, this all good for later if RT succeeds, but not right now. Good post Albi1. The Share Register will tell all over time.

Biffa, your understanding of the reasons for MW shorting GKP is woeful, as is your apparent understanding of GKP fundamentals. but this is not a GKP BB and we can both agree that the 'fundamentals' of HUR are totally different. I say this as a significant investor in HUR.I merely point out that MW are wholly uninterested in Biffa's hopes and dreams....they will do what they do best. And what they do best is what they're attempting to do to HUR for profit. Face it, while there's uncertainty it's bound to happen.

Biffa, If you want to see what MW shorting can do to a stock with sound fundamentals then look no further than GKP, and they are definitely interested in HUR.

Good point Cockeye, and there's me thinking their frenzied, incomprehensible rantings were a relatively new phenomenon. All I can do is say it as I have seen it since July...I haven't scrolled back through the years monitoring abuse cos I disregard it for my assessment of today's circumstances. I do wonder why they would abuse the PIs though if not to try and shake PI resolve.

How long ago was that? I'm a newby here, but interested in the somewhat chequered past associated with GKP and its beleaguered shareholders. For the record, I'm going nowhere. I can afford to misjudge this share and lose, but I don't see it somehow. Why? Cash balances growing exponentially, profit generating, strategically planned and funded growth, Heavy Institutional involvement, newly acquired legal M & A expertise, Peel Hunt continued positive outlook, MW shorting activity and the ever attendant trolling to dissuade new PIs.

I wonder how many of us there are out there? You know, the disillusioned, disconsolate ones clinging to the belief that, given the paucity of available information, this Company is being groomed for greater things "smoke and mirrors" and all.. The Trolls are just another indicator that we're right. In fact I'd worry if they weren't around.

One thing seems clear. All things being equal the share price shouldn't fall on cancellation of 20% of the shares. I don't reckon they'll get full participation in the Offer anyway. What's changed apart from tightening of control? So unless you had to sell why would you right now?

It seems that on any rational analysis gkp share price is unsustainable at current levels. Cash balances may well hit $300m+ by year end given current monthly receipts and even ignoring any claw back from previous arrangements. Throw that analysis forward to June next year assuming poo @$70-$80 and you have a business that will be valued at or around cash at bank. Put another way, investors would have to have concluded that gkp has no intrinsic operational value at all, even though it will be pumping out c.a.30kbopd. and generating millions of dollars of profitable receipts every month!!! Given the calibre of the share register that cannot be right. Something's got to give and it will inevitably be the share price which clearly can't be suppressed for much longer. Or am I wrong? What have I missed? Please help me understand!! The regional geopolitical tensions aren't going away, nor is the infighting between the key political players in Iraq. And yes, as a consequence, and given it's chequered history, this is a risk share. But that in itself cannot explain what we are witnessing. Can it?

Hi Zedy. Apart from buying and selling shares on behalf of their Clients, some Brokerages also pass opinion on those shares by way of a 'buy' or 'sell' recommendation. These opinions are also accompanied by a forecast share price over the next three/six months or even the year. Such opinions are updated to reflect changing market conditions. Peel Hunt are such a Broker. But they seem to be the only Broker offering any opinion on GKP lately and I was wondering why?

Can anyone tell me why Peel Hunt appear to be the only active forecaster of GKP sp?

Sorry Surreyscot, but for me this board represents an opportunity to discuss our investment in GKP whether that relates to business stategy, tactics, or anything else that might be relevant to sp performance. I personally welcome what appears to be another slant on this intriguing stock. Particularly given my own significant investment in it!!

I find it quite amusing that those posters attempting to degrade the GKP sp never query Mikey's analysis, nor the fundamentals of the business. But think about it. If they're right(?!?) then soon we will be in a position where the market cap is lower than the cash balances....hmm...I don't think so.

Yes, good call and helpful analysis Mikey. On the matter of the fundamentals, the golden rule of forensic accounting is that everything shown on the Balance Sheet is opinion apart from the Bank Balance which is fact. And look at GKP! Then there's the calibre of the Share Register, the rerated Peel Hunt broker forecasts (most recently @389p earlier this month), the appointment of an M&A legal specialist and the ferocious activity of MW to clear out the PIs and resource the II's. But it's a scarey ride.....I've topped up. I hope I'm right!!
