Thanks for your kind welcome. Just when I was hoping to buy in again - at under 1p - the wretched stock has jumped 12%. All i currently hold are 50/- warrants which I forgot to sell earlier. Gut says that this one will work out, despite a lot of negativity here and there. Time will tell.

substp, Greetings to you! With the failure of HCEG to maintain a day to day quotation I have been looking at PURI, also in the medical field with product and approvals in N. America. If you have an idle moment you may care to do the same.

Half-time results neatly backed up by news of participation in US military contract. All good stuff - at last - the share price now at about two pounds. If the contract is extended then they will most certainly rise from here. Interesting situation, shame that no other posters are interested, I guess that Northern Rock is more exciting!

Fillyone, I have the same concerns as you. My present view is that if they can somehow stay afloat then they will eventually work it through, I have no idea how much money they have,do you?

Yes, I do realise that PURI sounds a bit like something on the menu of an Indian restaurant, but interestingly they are listed on the main market and can go into an ISA.

I think that I am very happy to join you all in this and have acquired a bunch for my ISA, and another bunch for my wife. With the July 11 RNS, Rambler has become a very serious proposition. The geology is right, the management is right and the largest shareholder has a track record of getting these sorts of situations very, very right. The only sad thing is that British commodity investors are so caught up SLV, RXP, MXP and so on that they are almost completely unaware of what is going on here. There again, isn't it the way of it!

substp. When I was posting I nearly put in that cfo is yank terminology but then I thought that there would be a storm (sic) of abuse from other posters! Probably the answer is because CFO sounds more important than just FD and they feel that with a half-crown title they will get more money. eg. I am the Chief Financial Officer of Shell. or, I am the Finance Director of Shell. Which sounds more impressive? It has happened to managing directors also, they have now become Chief Executive Officers. Oh please! In reality I could care less just as long as these guys with their airs and graces can keep increasing the profits of the companies that I now have money in.

I still think of these types as being Financial Directors, Chief Financial Officer for me is a bit too grand for a peson who is essentially a bean counter.

substp. I was totally aware of the warrants at 5p when I talked with the company a couple of months ago on asking about them I was told by the fd that I had got it wrong and that ALL the warrants were pari passu!!!!!

substp, thanks! Have I calculated the number of warrants correctly? (b) I now translate the real meaning 'behind' this as being that they will support at 2.5p. I am unable to understand it as meaning that they have to buy, all the have is the option to buy as and when they choose, but as you point out it has to be at 2.5p (or above). Is there something in some Company Act that stops them buying in at under par? Anyway you are right, I mis-read it, mea culpa, mea culpa.
