A 12.75% upwards move today on a small turnover of 40,000 shares with a value of less than £10,000. On Feb 1st someone bought 50/- shares without moving the market too much. Are the mm's that short of stock or do they know something and are hiking the price?

Rumour has it that a research note has just been published saying that the shares are now worth about £1.75 which will then be translated to about £3.50 once production begins. Please has anyone seen this note?

Having tidied up my portfolio I have thrown these out have taken my final profit from them. All the very best of luck to you all who have chosen to remain I really hope that it works out in the end. Meanwhile I have doubled up in PURI (Aim) which is in not a totally unrelated business, except of course that they are up and running and taking in money, a trick that at the moment seems to elude HCEG. IMHO I think that the PURI share price is as cheap as chips. Best wishes.

Yes, thank you, it is the 7150. I am very happy not to have been the person who had to pay 43.50! I have never looked at Plusmarket, do they list their trades online somewhere? I once thought of buying their stock, then decided to top up with more ABG (Toronto) instead, which along with China Surveillance CSR (Wall Street) are my two 'naps' for 2008. This latter is probably the only share I have ever seen that I feel is capable of going to $1000+ a share - or nothing, I believe that Lehman is behind them.

Why has Dwyka decided to dip below 50%, surely it can't be that they are desperate for a couple of hundred thousand to pay the electricity bill - can it? This feels more like a technical move to pave the way for some future action. That Ambrian has placed the stock with clients is imho a positive. Very interesting even if a bit odd.

Yes, possibly the directors would like to top up but where are they going to find the stock? Someone appears to have sold 30/- the rest is dribs and drabs with the odd 10/- My modest purchase has not yet been marked, either on this site or on the Stock Exchange site. It would be interesting to know why and to see if it is revealed before the close or held over until tomorrow. The broker tells me that there are only 2500 shares on offer at 40p so I think that I must have coincided with the 30/- that were sold, I was lucky not to have to pay outside the price. I had forgotten that we are 50% below the float price and thank you for reminding me of this. The only remaining mystery to me is as to why more people have not latched onto PURI, maybe there are a lot of people and institutions locked in at 80p and feeling sore.

The really interesting aspect of today's announcement is the statement by Mr. Gannon of the Big Y supermarket chain. Gannon sems to be indicating that the utilisation of sterilox is a 'no brainer'. If he is correct in this, and he should know, then we are now heading towards an industry standard and that means substantial growth to come. If the markets were not as bad as they are this morning the sp would probably be closer to 50p than 40p. as the coy says that there are more new customers in the pipeline. The moment to top up perhaps?

subs, you appear to know more about the company than anyone, why don't you get a little backing, await a big fall and then make a predatory bid? 0.20 might secure it, anything is possible, particularly in these markets.

What with the trust 'thing', the general outlook for the economy and commercial property in particular I decided to get out for the time being with a view to getting back in a little lower. I feel as I have always felt that this is a well run well funded operation, this despite the critics on other chat sites.

Yesterday's positive drilling report when added to the others seems to have kick-started the price, even so it has in recent times been up to the mid 70s there is still a little way to go yet before we hit the uncharted waters, let's hope!

On a day when so much turned sour this nice little company decided to go up 2.5%, magic!

Also the exchange rate gain on rambler has been about 20% alone.

Up 9% today, with no announcement. Rambler after years of drifting (ambling?) now appear to be springing to life. This has long been a favourite holding and am of course glad that others are now beginning to feel the same way.
