This is interesting as we have heard nothing about the funding yet HARL has the money apparently to fund the purchase of the vessel and bank roll it for at least five months unless they are expecting a large amount of advance bookings.

The fact that HArbour are shelling out such a large sum indicates that post COP28 the death of Oil and Gas as a fuel has been postponed so if and when IM becomes operational looks like it will have customers.

Having read the full judgement this one has reached the end of the road. It was an appeal from a refusal of permission to apply for JR in those circumstances there is no right of appeal to the Supreme Court.

Consuela ref 15.10,post I am in the process of reading the judgement but from what I have read so far the camapigners lost at the first hearing. They then applied for leave to appeal refused on the papers renewed it for an oral permission hearing lost again. Then they appealed the refusal of permission and at a rolled up permission and full hearing and lost again. So by my count they have been told no by six judges of various seniority are they going to try and make it 11 judges and seek permission to appeal to the Supreme Court.

The question is why they lost as it might give an indication of what the NICA will decide in February.

The reason for thinking that was the case is the posting of RNSs at 7am an hour before markets opened. While you are right that the FSS announcement was an intra day RNS due to ho markets had reacted to previous RNSs about conract awards it could have been argued that it would not have moved the markets significantly so no need for an RNS first thing.

If I recall any news that might affect the share price must be made while the market is closed. The deadline for making a formal bid is tomorrow. So if a bid is made tomorrow am i right in thinking no announcement can be made until after 4.30 tomorrow?

the Arnish fabrication yard. The link can accommodate loads up to 40m wide, allowing items to be transported by vessels which are too large.' What kind of loads that are 40m wide do they have in mind. Also they must believe the arrival of such loads would be a frequent occurrence to justify the expense.

It would be interesting to see where the investment zone will be.

The unions have as far as I am aware not entitled to the documents that they are demanding. These documents are internal documents. Who do the unions think they are Americans.

If HARL is not to avoid a second maturity extension on the Riverfort loan then we need the finance deal done by March of next year. The original maturity date was in September of this year. I think JW should complete the finance deal so as not to have to pay a further extension fee as this time it would be double what was paid in September.

City AM is reporting today on a new guide produced jointly by ADS and UK Finance. The guide related to the practice of debanking this is where the Bank closes a customer's account. The guide is specific to the defence industry where it is a particular problem. In fact it appears to have got so bad that Ministers have got involved. As HARL is still primarily a shipbuilding company it will avoid becoming a victim of debanking.
