I would have thought there will be enough of that work to keep HARL busy. As broomtree keeps noting Q4 does appear to be empty contract wise. I am sure Oliver Morton will be woring on that though.

LSE03 ref 20.14 post this looks like it will b for the construction of an FPSO which may be a stretch for HARL. That said Icame across this https://www.offshore-energy.biz/jadestone-to-re-issue-fpso-tender-for-vietnam-gas-project/ so it would be interesting to see if the tender is even issued. I think that HARL may be able to win other FPSO work as there seems that there may be more FPSO work than shipyard capacity to handle the work.

I am not sure if it is pulling the SeaRose but the Offshore Tug Maersk Cutter is also due in from St Johns Canada next week Tuesday according to the Belfast Harbour website. It is scheduled to stay until Saturday.

Firstly, you believe that officials in the Department of the Economy wasted their time in putting up a submission to the minister to approve the engaging of consultants to advise on the appropriate way to fund IM. As they knew that approval of funding would not be given. Secondly you have read the ESG policies of all 357 lending institutions in the UK. This would be the only way you would know that none would lend to HARL to fund IM.

On the issue of ESG you might find this article from CityAM of interest.

Hebridean9 ref 08.03 post Your view on whether the NI Executive would fund IM either in whole or in part as with Consuela's similar view seems to be contradicted by the officials in the Department of the Economy asking for permission to let a consultancy contract to look at funding options. I think we will have to agree to differ on the National Infrastructure Bank funding IM.

Consuela ref 23.51 post can you clarify what hot air you are referring to. It could not be about whether the NI Executive might approve funding for IM as that has a basis for the suggestion.

This would seem relevant to the funding of IslandMagee especially if HARL decides to hold a 100% share or certainly anything between 75% - 100%. It would also explain the delay in reaching FID if such negotiations are going on. I am not sure if IM would qualify for UKEF funding as I do not see any export element.

Kaeren ref 19.03 post I would observe that it is not unheard of for a developer to commence construction even when there are ongoing appeals in relation to the construction. Also another possibility is that once the appeals are out of the way one cavern could be built in two years allowing for funding to be provided to part defray the construction of the other caverns. I cannot recall how long it was going to take to build all seven caverns currently permitted.
