skier1 - I note all your examples were government projects. Can you lease give an exampleo f a private sector project that had contracts with incentives for completion on time and within budget that did not finish on time and on budget?

As I understand it somebody called Philip Hammond will be making a staement in Parliament I think it is called a budget something like that.

Myosotis - If you follow the logic of your argument then a positive story should have a similar effect but it does not so while sentiment plays a part it is not the whole story.

Avocet123 - As I have said before I do not believe that any one thing influences share price moves. You will have company specifics, market sentiment, macro economic news and in some cases macro political news. I note that on Monday and Tuesday of this week the share price went in the opposite direction to the rest of the market so yesterday could have been part catch up or it could be profit taking or a combination of any of all these factors we just do not know. In any case the reason will not be the same for everyone.

If people did not place so much emphasis on what the FT journalist says do you think he would keep on writing it?

From reading the posts over the last coupple of days people would be forgiven for thinking that a single reporter cn exert influence on the share price. If anyone was to think objectively for a minute they will know this cannot be the case. Yesterday we had the FT article which was negative we also had a number of neutral or positive reports are people really saying that the only report anyone took any notice of was the one in the FT. It only needs to be stated for people to see how absurd that it is.

A number of things would have been weighing on people's mnds yesterday when they made there decisions the FT article may have been one of the things.

hottrader - I came in to see if I should reinvest as you seem to be saying that when the interim results for the six months to 30 September which will be out by the end of this year will not show anything I will efer any reinvestment decision until the full year rewsults are out in August next year.

drwwood - Thanks I did note that. However in this case I am more relaxed about it than I would be normally. The issue is over the completion of stage 2 financing. We do not know when the statement by the auditors was written matters have moved on from then.

Casapinos - In relation to your 09.59 post I do not agree that just because my suggestions are not mentioned in any great detail that the fact 'that they have not proposed them as a solution to the problem suggests to me that they are either impractical or of marginal cash benefit' You will recall that the company has stated that dillution would be the last resort so it would not sutprise me if some of my suggestions are being considered.

casapinos - In relation to your 09.22 post if you check my post history you will see that I have come up with suggestions of how to raise the additional stage 2 funding that does not require any additional shares being issued. I do not recall anyone saying any of them are not practical including yourself.

Mr.dt - In relation to your 09.11 in those circumstnces I would advocate using the Private Act of Patliament route as opposed to the planning route.

Mr.Dt - In relation to your 08.32 post one issue is that planning permission if I recall correctly only permits a maximum of 20mtpa and any increase over this would need further planning permisssion. Also I may be wrong about this but it would also need additional infrastructure whihc would increase the Capex budget

Myosotis - I failed CSE Maths so I would not holdstore by my maths but I did a back of a cigarette packet calculations and came to the same conclusion as in your 09.18 post.

PAAA - The difference is that in relation to the labour proposals on Employee Shareholdings WILL have a bearing on Sirius because they will apply to it as Sirius will have more than 250 employees. The effect on Sirius of BREXIT is less clear cut as it is not clear how much trade with the EU it will have. None of the 8MTPA + of TorPs are in Europe.

DrQu - The rules would not only apply to listed companies. As I understand it any business that employees more than 250 employees would be caught. Therefore, an unlisted company would still be caught. Interestingly, an unintended consequence might be an increase in Private companies that do not declare a dividend. I do ot see how employees of a private company would benefit from this proposal as any share in the profits of the company would be by way of a bonus so would be taxable.
