I have looked again at the valuation given by Align Research last week. It would seem that a number of assumptions made by Align might no longer be valid in the light of today's news. If the negotiations in Japan do lead to an agreement and a fully operational plant then, subject to planning permission, there is a real prospect of UKbased customers adopting the DMG system in significant numbers. In those circumstances to callthe £44million pound valuation put on Powerhouse by align as being conservative would be generous. Lookslike my pension might be secure.

telephoneman -I presume that a tie up with Toyota will have when it comes to speed of expansion is that they will not have to be delayed by having to wait months for planning permission.

BumbleB - Down the line probably. I think at the moment due to its size that they are concentrating on the Hydrogen but they will have to find a use for other byproducts at some stage.

I think the reference to precursors is to other chemicals that are created in the process. It is not clear tome what use, if any, willbe made of these precursors.

The two important notes I take from this RNS are firstly that it was made at all. Powerhouse does not strike me to be the kind of company to issue an RNS just for the sake of it. If you look at the last operational update that was on the back of one from W2T. Secondly, the reference to the rest of the world in the Toyota quote that would seem to indicate that Toyota might be looking at a big move into Hydrogen powered cars and wants to ensure that buyers can topup thier cars with ease.

Piltick - I believe that the main selling pointis the modular design which means it is adaptable to meet the customers needs. For instance not all customers may want to convert some of the feedstock to road fuel in that case they would only have that part that converts the feedstock to energy. If the needs change then the unit can be adapted to meet those needs.

Unless I missed it one difference between the two is that the Synova proposition does not have the conversion to fuel option. I can therefore see a situation arising where Powerhouse is used in ases where a waste compnay wants to reduce its fuel spend in addition to the conversion of waste to energy. Where only conversion of waste to energy is wanted then either would be used. On the whole in the UK local authorities are more likely to go for Powerhouse because they can convert their fleets to hydrogen. This would mean that the cost of powering their fleets will be reduced and they would save on landfill fees.

Cred2 - Earlier this week I did the calculation of how long it would take to clear 1million tonnes of waste from landfill using 10 G3 units. My rather ropy maths came out with 11years. Most labdfills are close or at capacity so a solution to landfill is needed.

Does anyone know when the Feed in Tariff ends in April next year who will be setting the price for exporting electricity to the grid and how will the price will be set.

dgwwood - As you say an interesting article. My view was that Boulby would not be financially viable within five years of sirius going into production. The reason being an inability to compete on price.

Piltick - That would be applying common sense to government policy. In any case on reading the terms of the competition Powerhouse may be slightly too advanced for this competition.

Dodger47 = I agree likely to be too busy. Also I suspect that Ppowerhouse are further advanced than companies that this is aimed at.

skier1 - Sorry you have lost me now. First you say that if the share price goes below the year low this would be a negative signal. When challenged you do not back this up with an explanation to show why it would be more than market turbulence that is likely to affect the market all week. Now you are saying that there are all these problems but do not support these suggestions with facts.

Looks like a good networking opportunity. Intersting that HMG will be represented that may prove useful.

skier1 - I am once again trying to follow the logic of what you say. We are likely to see market turbulence all this week so any drop to or below the year low will nor be a signal of anything except there is no news to counter the market drift. I will be waiting for your positive post when the share price starts going up.

LadySonia - If you click on the link in OldRascal's 13.39 post under dexription it says 'full of essential Cations: Potash, Magnesium and Calcium for strong sturdy growth in all plants' That is why I asked the question only three nutrients are mentioned.

jabberba - noted that this morning. I also note that in calculating the NPV for powerhouse they did not take this into account. I broke my calculator trying to work out the potential revenue from that.

OldRascal - Am I reading the ingredients right the Polysulphate only has three of the main ingredients that Poly4 has? If that is right that would make Poly4 the better product.

telephoneman - As my maths is little better than 1 + 1 = 3 I was hoping that somebody else would do the claculation. I simply doubled their valuation to get £90 million. Is that what you make it?
