98889 - You must remember that these are the operational costs apportioned to each unit. Also PHE does not have a large staff so the wage bill would be small. I suspect that maintenance would be down to the purchaser of the unit and not PHE.

How many days a year will a DMG unit operate for? My calculations are based on 350 days a year operating. I have seen others which use 333 days. Which is correct?

98889 - Thanks for your post of 17.18 of 30 April. You are right that I did not factor in operational expenditure which if I recall from the Align Research Note is estimated at £850,000. On a per unit basis depending on whether you are expecting 20 or 50 units to be sold comes to either £17,000 for 50 units a year or £42,500 for 20 units. I also did not attempt to work out the corporation tax that would be due on earnings over £60,000,000 which is the approximate amount of prior year losses available.

To while away sometime over the weekend I tried to work out what was the possible income for PHE for selling 25 or 50 units a year. My calculations can be found at this link https://jmp.sh/fN2Xh11. The Olympics are in Tokyo and this would be a good place to showcase what the DMG can do wiht all the visitors and extra litter they would bring. In addition it would allow the Japanese Government to show how environmentally friendly the games are. This is why I suspect that we will have a deal this year as it would allow the DMG units to be deployed in time for the Olympics.

Maths is not my strong point so can somebody work out which would bring in more 28MW/h of electricity using private wire agreement or the same amount of electricity sold at the wholesale market price. The reason I ask is that with the end of feed in tariffs in the UK it would seem that when selling electricity to the grid you will get the wholesale electricity price at the time of tramsmission. This would affect the amount that PHE recieves in license fees.

Assuming that PHE sells 20 DMG units a year based on my calculations, which includes an assumption that PHE makes a 20% profit on every DMG unit sold, and only relates to domestic sales there would seem to be sufficient income to rpovide for dividends of 1p a share. My calculations used a number of different permutations of eectricity only or hydrogen and electricity.

Last time dividends was mentioned it was suggested that all the income wuld need to be reinvested to cover R and D. I a not sure that is correct.

Telephoneman - I agree with your calculations it is more with the number of units needed to make a revenue of £40m. On additional revenues I think we can expect revenues around the £400k minimum on each site. There is not much information on the other services I thiught I read in the RNS something about build so I think they might receive some kind of payment for the DMG unit.

Telephoneman in response to your post of 08.36 0f 20 April. Can I respectfully query your calculations. You seem to be basing your calculations of the amount needed to have earnngs of £40m on a corporation tax rate of 20%. From this page https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/rates-and-allowances-corporation-tax/rates-and-allowances-corporation-tax it would seem that from next year the cororation tax rate will be 17%. Also you appear to assume the only revenue will be from license fees. I think there will be at least two other sources of income. Income from additional services as we saw from last week's RNS they could be significant. In addition unless the DMG units are being given away then there is potential income from the building and installing of the DMG units. Taking all these into account I would suggest that PHE may only need to sell 20 -30 units to make a revenue of £40m.

Reflecting on the RNS from earlier this week does anyone know the size of the plot that W2T is taking. The reason I ask is that the footprint of a DMG unit is circa half an acre so if W2T is taking a site larger than this it would seem to indicate that they may be taking mre than one unit.

why the share price for PHE on NEX is different to the price on AIM? At the moment NEX is higher but sometimes I have seen AIM higher.

What I found interesting about this RNS is the value of the contract. I am not sure of the breakdown between PHE and sub contractors is but the total value is higher than I had calculated for royalties on the license fee. On that basis we can look forward to significant revenues on top of royalties. So all looking good to me so far.

The projected size of the Waste to Energy Market is $42.74Bn https://www.statista.com/statistics/480452/market-value-of-waste-to-energy-globally-projection/ . If DMG Technology can capture 10% of this market then that would be interesting. It does not include the value of the Hydrogen Fuel market so makes for a potentially nice tidy sum.
