RE: General Concerns10 Feb 2020 11:09
In relation to revenue I did a quick google check and the current price for Jet Fuel is $1.58 and according to the Velocys website the unit is designed to produce 20m Gallons a year that would give an annual revenue at today's price of $31,600,000 (£24,444,654). This is the gross revenue from Immingham only. There is a difference between feedstock coming in and the maximum that can be processed of 620 tonnes. (See my post of 11.13 on Saturday.) The cost of sending this to landfill means to just cover the landfill charges including tax you would need a gate fee of £42. While this gate fee is less than the landfill charge it does not cover the cost of transport to the landfill or markup. The current MCap is equal to the projected gross income from Immingham and based on these figures is about what the current value. I note however that the company as a whole is loss making.
In relation to when Immingham will become operational this depends on when planningpermission is granted. If the application does not go to a Planning Inquiry then we should get permission by Q3 this year. However if the issue does go to a planning inquiry then we may not get planning permission until next year. To covr both eventualities I would expect Immingham to be operational in 4 - 6 years.
