TheEast - Thanks for your post of 08.54 are you near the Appledore site? I find the presence of such a large plot of land we are talking about land the size of about 29 football fields interesting. I do not believe it should just be left there as a non performing non core asset.

drango In relation to your 13.18 post from yesterday as the land is 29 acres it certainly has a significant value so the question is what to do with it. From this page https://www.newsnow.co.uk/classifieds/plots-land/waterfront-land-for-sale-uk.html it would seem that the land is worth a fair chunk of what INFA paid for Appledore. It may be possible to do a development at a distance from the shipyard.

isalingebruik in relation to your 07,51 post are you referring to the Aries claim where when I checked th court records this week Aries had not even served any defendants with the claim. More importantly as I have pointed out yesterday they have made no application for an Order for service under the Hague Convention. So it looks like Aries are not interested in thier own claim.

This news is unlikely to help the share price. The only good news is that no enforcement action will bw taken as a result.

If you register for PACER then you can check the court file and take copies of documents they charge 10cents a page and a search is also 10 cents. The good news is you do not have to pay then and there you are billed quarterly.

It is also worth noting that no application is on the docket asking for service on Eqtec under the Hague Convention so it does not seem that any steps are being made to progress the claim.

Aries have not progressed the claim and I can find no evidence from the court file that they have even served their claim on any of the defendants. I would also point out thatthere has been no judicial finding that EQT has stolen any patents.

Tango1 In relation toyour 11.17 post I would observe that the local MP is a former Attorney General so probably has a few cotacts in the government. This government does not seem to mind awarding contracts without tenders. I would also note that the award of contracts to Appledore would be in line with the National Shipbuilding Strategy.
