Fortitude - In relation to your 13.26 post I would not be too keen on acquisitions as a method of growth as the acquisitions need to be paid for. This would impact either on the capital growth of the company caused by a depressed share as a result of placings to fund acquisitions or on income growth as the funds would not be available for dividends. The latter is important when it comes to getting institutions to invest as they rely on income.

ShareNewb95 - There is the RNS giving notice of the AGM. As far as the start of work at Protos is concerned if I recall from a recent RNS work is not likely to start before next month. To be fair it was never stated that work would start on 1 September that was always the earliest it could start.

isalingebruik In relation to your 08.44 post your suggestion that the share price will drop 40% straightaway on any bad news does not appear to be supported by any precedent or evidence so presume is scaremongering unless you have anything to back it up.

In the 30 July update it said that diamond mining will start on 3 August 2020. Is there any news on whether mining did start?

Loosegoose In relation to your 06.51 post it ceertainly looks like it will be a busy month in Belfast. At this rate there is a serious danger that INFA might make a maiden profit.

Chrisatrdg In relation to your 09.50 post If H&W (Belfast) did not have a dry dock available that means it must be busy which is good news for INFA. I wonder if we will get a trading update showing how much revenue it is generating and what contracts it has.

Speedy and Pacman Thanks for the info. This financial year which has just started looks like it could be interesting.

Does anybody know from the time the marine license is approved how long will Islandmagee take to be constructed and revenues start to flow? As things stand I am assuming that until 2022/3 the only revenues that INFA will have will be from Shipyard Division and after that the Gas Storage Division will start contributing revenues.

Bananaman2 Thank you for going to all the trouble of looking up all that information on prior art. Unusually I am not going to check it again as I am fairly certain you are right. I am still maintaining this as a hold until I see the defences put inn to this claim. The other thing that I might look at is the report that is due to be filed by 1 October as that will give a good indication if this matter is likely to settle.

I was looking at the interim results this morning and I noted that in the short period from the purchase of H&W to the end of January it made revenues of just over £500,000. This begs the question when we get the year end results at the end of the year what will they be like. Also next year we will have a full year of H&W Belfast and H&W Appledore. I would not be surprised if next year INFA moves into profit without the income from the Gas storage businesses. I am almost ready to move this from a hold to a buy.

I note that after the RNS of the appointment came out the share price went up about 2% that seems to indicate that the markets liked the news. But I do wonder why a Deputy Chairman is being appointed now.

It is not the case as you suggest that ' it could be that Aries was taking a flyer and did not want to pay for lawyers to put together a claim until they knew how serious Eqtec might be re their response. ' It would seem that Aries are not in a hurry to pursue this matter.

Is any news expected soon as the sahre price is up over 7% for no apparent reason.

Topupme In relation to your 10.58 post the relevant rules can be found here https://www.courts.ca.gov/cms/rules/index.cfm?title=three&linkid=rule3_110. It would seem that the answer is no all that will happen is they will face sanctions from the Court. By my calculations the 60 days to serve the complaint will expire around the 7th September.

sensetalka - In relation to your 09.56 post No the legal issue has not been resolved. If it s not resolved on or before the hearing on 8 October then it mght drag on. However, Aries have not served the claim on EQT so I am not sure if it is being actively pursued.

What would be interesting to see is what the share price does from Tuesday. This would be after the Bank Holiday weekend and when the serious traders start getting back from their summer holidays.
