Castlepaul13 In relation to your 07.45 post I have previously done a calculation of the economics on the DMG unit. You need 5kg of hydrogen to power a car for 3-400 miles. (see the performanc figures for the Toyota Mirai at this link). So a tonne of hydrogen will power 200 ordinary vehicles for 7000 miles using an average of 350 miles for a full tank of hydrogen. A 40 tonne a day DMG unit would therefore provide enough hydrogen to power 400 cars a day.

1 From January 2021 Infrastrata will have two working shipyards in those circumstances in order to support the share price would it be possible to move to quarterly trading updates? Currently the only information on the possible income levels comes from counting the number of ships or ferries berthed at Belfast Harbour using publicly available information.
2 While the use of social media to keep people informed is appreciated not all shareholders use social media. In those circumstances can a more inclusive way of keeping shareholders informed be adopted'

BlairPeach In relation to your 15.24 post. I would not want acquisitions to be done for the sake of it. However where it is part of a coherent strategy and would bring in near term revenues then it should be considered. I note that H&W Belfast has provided a clear revenue stream I would like to know how good it has been. So a similar acquisition that will give revenue in shot order should not be ruled out if there is a clear rationale.

Having read the article on the roadshows I am starting to think that we might hear something interesting. John Wood is quoted as commenting 'and we are excited to share our vision and strategy, as well as the significant progress we are making through hard work and astute decisions.' It is the reference to the vision and strategy that I find interesting are we going to see a change in strategy?

I have read reports including this one https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-54756950 that a month long national lockdown will be announced soon. If that happens depending on how tight the restrictions are it will have an adverse effect on INFA. It will also probably knock back the breakeven point if it has not been reached to next year.

for the 03/11/20 OC is shown as Departing from D1S at 12.00

So it looks like OC is leaving Belfast on the 3rd with the building dock free from the 2nd.

Can somebody check the Belfast Harbour page as if I am reading it correctly OC is moving from the Building Dock to the SRQ on Sunday. If that is correct that would leave the building dock empty. I am not sure what is coming in if anything.

CarefulBunny In relation to your 12.35 post I am wary of any proposed medical breakthrough and do not have the time to listen to a two hour discussion on the subject. I would need to do some more research but am sceptical.

It can therefore handle a few ships which answers the point raised by Si_Derman about the ability to do ship repairs and defence work at the same time.

peterlee In relation to your 23.40 of yesterday in the current climate with Covid and a US Presidential Election, that may or may not be resolved next week. with all the attendant market disruption I do not see 4p being reached this year. I do think it will be reached once the current Covid spike is resolved.

I would like to hear if the goal of breaking even this year is likely to be met or exceeded. Mysuggestion is as both Belfast and Appledore will be operational next year can we move to quarterly trading updates as this would assist in supporting the share price.

Si_Derman In relation to your 12.38 post I also note that we have not heard anymore about the FSRU project. At least with the shipyards there is income coming in which would make obtaining a loan easier as there will be evidence that it can be paid back.

The Department is currently considering an application for a marine licence ML28_12 and also reviewing associated discharge and abstract consents. There is a large volume of consultation responses to review.
There is no timeframe for when decisions will be made.

It would seem that apart from the marine licnse application they are also reviewing the discharge and abstract consents which might go someway to explaining the delay.
