4theLongterm In relation to your 09.52 post my strategy in relation is simple. I have put a certain amount of money in my HL account it will pay for my basic entitlement. I will then apply for an exces shares upto the balance of the money I have. As this money was moved into the account specifically for the Open Offer there is no issue in it being tied up. Also I am using spare cash so do not need it immediately.

ivans In relation to your 23.35 post while you are correct thata share price does on ocassion drop below the placing price, in this case 45p. I do not believe that will happen in this case for two reasons. Firstly, even since the RNS giving Notice of the Placing and Open Offer it has been trading within a range that has not gone below the placing price. Second if it was going to drop below the placing price I would have expected it to have done so at least once before now.

I accept that once trading in the first tranche of placing shares starts we might see a dip I would be surprised if it was to drop as low as you would seem to think. We will in any event see within the next hour.

mark1976 In relation to your 15.08 post I have just looked at my HL account the extra shares relate to your entitlement under the open offer. You should be hearing from HL shortly about what to do to take part in the open offer. It maybe that you will be assumed to be taking up your entitlement unless you say otherwise but wait to hear from HL to confirm this.

Radders99 In relation to your 10.31 post see my 07.29 post. HL will probably be sending out emails today/tomorrow. If you hve not done so aready make sure that you have the funds in your HL account.

I received a secure email from HL yesterday saying that they will be writing to all shareholders about the Open Offer. I have already moved the funds into my accounts to allow me to participate.

What concerns me is not that it is a sell of of 4m shares but the fact that it is, if I recall correctly, the Finance Director the selling. When the Finance Director or a close member of his family sells shares that gets my attention. I am still convinced about the technology but I am going to put this on hold especially as this sale amuntsto more than 10% of his holding.

Which does not seem to indicate that it is going into dry dock. Something is showing as arriving into both the Dry Dock and the Building Dock early morning of the 1/1/21 unusually no ship name is shown. So it looks like there is work for the start of the year and Celtic Explorer will be in SRQ.

If I am reading this correctly under the deal the procurement provisions go beyond the sectors in WTO CPA. This is good and bad.

According to the Belfast Harbour website on 28 December Celtic Explorer is moving from BDD to SRQ. Is BDD being cleared for something coming in in the New Year?

It seems that we have managed to agree a deal with the EU. However it still needs Parliamentary on both sides of the Channel. There is little time for detailed debate n what is said to be a 2000 page document in the next week so expect grumbling from next week when Parliament is recalled. Hopefully this means that we will have a normal market next year with less volatility.
