This is the second story from the Larne Times about the Narine License decision https://www.larnetimes.co.uk/news/environment/islandmagee-gas-caverns-storage-plan-has-appropriate-controls-in-place-daera-3420511 It is a reasonably balanced decision. It also lays to rest the argument from BlairPeach that HARL sat on the decision. It records that the decision was made on the 27th September and HARL was not issued with the papers until October 12. I am sure that BlairPeach being an honourabke person will now agree to withdraw the allegation that HARL had withheld the information for its own purposes.

oldtramp ref 17.19 post that is the case but the main issues were that the protected walkway was not physically separated from the ramp which the lorry was being rolled back down. Also the driver of the truck could not see anyone on the ramp. When I looked at the photo of the truck it was clear that the lorry was into the protected walkway. A barrier would need to be added to separate the protected walkway from the ramp. I think this might require the deck to be redesigned.

Did anyone else notice that 15.54 trade. It is interesting not because of the size it was interesting because of the trade price. I am not sure if it was a late posting of an earlier trade or someone was really determined to purchase the shares.

oldtramp ref 16.23 post not sure about that the MAIB report came out last year when ferries were not operating as normal so it could have been delayed. I note that the stern door was removed I am not sure if that is normal for the routine maintenance.

I wonder if the 'routine maintenance' will address the safety issue that led to the 2019 fatal accident?

WiseInvestor23 ref 12.51 post the other question is whether this is part of the three ship deal which was due to start this month with the ships going one after the other.Seatruck Progress does have two sister ships so it fits. I saw a comment on the post that the work does not come cheap.

WiseInvestor23 ref 09.47 post the list you refer to was in fact a list of all ships I am aware of for the rest of the year. Where I had any information on likely revenue it was stated in the post.

Jabido ref 09.47 post Thanks to oldtramp for that link it does answer my question the license to store was granted in October 2012 and cannot in most circumstances come to an end until October 2062. The current argument which is really clutching at straws in my view is that as it is a license to store gas it does not give permission to construct the storage facility. Although I cannot see how one could be of any use without the other.

Jabido ref 09.14 post it would depend on the reason for a raise. I do not see a reason for a raise to fund IslandMagee at the parent level any raise would in my view be at the project level through shares in IMEL. As far as a raise for any other purpose we are still within the 12 month period that JW said there would not be a raise. I would also observe that the income from expected work would militate against a raise in my view.

oldtramp I would observe that in the case of the Saipem contract HARL did publish the value contract that is how we know that the contract is worth £26m. Also HARL made reference to a two ship deal being valued at £1.6m. I also note that the share price did go up after the Saipem contract RNS. We are both in TPG and when they issue a contract it does include the value. In fact I believe some companies do include the value. A final argument for doing it is that it would dispel the feeling that it was only done in the case of Saipem so a placing could be done.

I am not sure if anyone has any backdoor contacts at HARL but if you do can you suggest that with the next contract RNS a value of the contract is mentioned. I may be wrong but I think the absence of a value of contracts is what holds the SP back on an otherwise good news RNS.
