Likely to fall sharply following the RNS in my view as NICE will likely still with the draft guidance and recommend lab testing as primary strategy. I expect the rampers will try and sell out this week before the announcement.

I can't understand why you want to try an analyse posters. Why not just stick to the stock?

Not at this moment Sprout, but I have done. Will be interesting to see what NICE's final word is on 31st July. I think GDR have definitely tried a lot with this. But the challenge is that the NHS already has a strategy in place with these genomic testing hubs (lab testing). So to me, the dice was kind of loaded against them from the start.

For example, If NICE changed their mind and said they want to use the GDR POC test with the 35,000 non-minor cases, then GDR could have potential revenue from this in UK of about £3m. But they certainly haven't said that so far. If they say they still think lab testing is the best solution for even the non-minor cases, then at best GDR only going to pick up a tiny bit of revenue while they scale up capacity - and this bit of revenue would only be temporary to boot.

Sprout, To me the draft guidance and what NICE said before seemed to indicate that they really going all out on lab testing for this through the hubs they set up already (but having to scale up to get to the point where they can do 100,000 tests for this a year through the labs). It's possible they could change their mind. I doubt that personally. I think if they don't change their mind quite a bit, GDR is very unlikely to get much out of this at all. Let's see if they say something different on 31st July.

Well they did announce that breakthrough designation with FDA Roger. so maybe that helped as well. But very common to get large bounce after a placing has been sorted and immediate risk of administration is taken away. I guess risk for share price is that you could end up below placing price quite quickly if pump and dump crew selling and others selling as well all at same time. Though it will go down in stages probably. Would say 2.8p is the next support level possibly after this, though it went up so quickly it not really certain.

It's just scenario analysis using old statistical models Maj. NICE already had seen this when they drew up their draft guidance anyway.

Your best bet is AIHL slacker. Though that by no means certain either. I thought it would have been adopted by the NHS long ago by now, which makes me wonder if full universal roll out will ever happen. (Obviously potential of US opportunity as well though now)

Roger, I'm not the only one who understands the guidance! Make of GDR's communications what you will. Yes, they didn't mention lab testing at all in their press release did they! And then they somehow managed to raise £6m. But still with no long-term ii investors on board at all!

It doesn't matter what I'd choose Eureka. What counts is what NICE decide and the other health bodies around the world (they generally decide much the same thing as one another). Ironic thing about that article is that GDR used to have a POC test for COVID and HCV itself, but those are both "legacy products" now, and achieved very little in terms of sales.
