They'll all be trying to secure central lab testing first for this before considering POC as alternative option, as that's what NICE just told them to do.
Lol sharedealer, if GDR had the entire UK market for this, revenue would be about £8.5m. Will they get 5% or 10% per annum of this market for a couple of years and then nothing as lab testing gets completely sorted?

It's just NICE take into account all sorts of things. But personally think they biased against POC already, that's the starting point. The genomic hubs strategy that they already put in place some time ago was about central lab testing. So they basically comparing other altenatives to what is already their prime strategy.
To me it just because it not certain how much/little GDR can benefit from NICE recommendation for stroke product seeing as they appear to be recommending central lab testing as preferred strategy. Perhaps tomorrow they'll be more clarity to understand the benefit or not for GDR.

But also I think it would take a "significant" amount of time to get GDR's POC rolled out across all NHS hospitals in the UK. I think they once said it would take about 15 months to get AIHL fully rolled out across all 210 baby units in the UK. So how long would it take to get the stroke test rolled out across all 1140 hospitals in the UK?
