For one, the market cap is considered high. Anybody that pays attention to geopolitics will know that China will not let Russia meddle with Mongolia. China already have Petro China and Sinopec. Mongolia will play neither part amongst Russia or China.

I don't mind people being optimistic about their investment, we all do, to some extent.

Posting fictional scenarios and labelling them as certainty is a deliberate attempt to mislead:

- special dividends

- 30 additional wells

- Arab money to make Mongolia the next Middle East

The above are just a few of the misleading narratives posted by the ramping group.

If you believe in something to happen, at least use words like "potential" or "perhaps" or "could."

I doubt anyone from the ramping crew would hold accountability, if someone bought and lost money on the back of their misleading information.

They will just brush it off casually and deny what they had said. This sort of behaviour is totally fraudulent and unethical.

Instead of doing the job they are paid to do, the BODs, they have decided to deploy a group of rampers to cover their poor track records.

Yes, this is my speculation but how else would you explain the coordinated attacks from the ramping crew. They are literally here 24/7 monitoring the board and shutting down any criticism from the genuine holders.

Ever walked past a street scam and once exposed the scammer gets aggressive. It definitely feels that way with the rampers.

They are here because they are assigned an assignment. The company must be looking to raise and there are x amount of shares to be offloaded to the market.

That's why they are trying to sugarcoat Matad's position, which is not so good, and anyone who points out the facts that the ramping group doesn't want people to know, then their posts gets jumped on and the personal attacks commences.

You got to ask yourself one question. Why are they so afraid of the facts being posted if the company is on the verge of success.

If the company were about to accomplish something great, then then nothing will stop it's tracks.

The reality is that they're all lies. The ramping group are here to entice buys. That is their agenda. The thread titles are mostly fiction trying to hype the stock.

None of them want to mention the past or the mismanagement, or the limited funds on the Matad bank.

This really has all the hallmarks of a s**m. If everything were so good then just it play out. It's really that simple.

The only achievement MB and team have accomplished is producing many disgruntled shareholders.

£174 millions and 10 years plus in Mongolia, and unable to bring on line a revenue stream.

Shareholders have every right to criticise and complain.

Most are expressing their dissatisfaction here and to caution new investors.

Why continue to support and fund the BODs if you know for sure they can't deliver. You'd just be wasting more money. Better put the funds towards another investment that's worth your time, in my honest opinion.

MB is like that dishonest friend that keeps coming back to borrow more money without paying anything back.

The investors here are that friend that keeps letting him borrow more because they are afraid if they refuse and burn the bridges, they won't get back anything.

Either ways, you are not getting anything back anyways, so why continue to fund that dishonest bugger.

Badprophet, this is precisely the problem here.

Shareholders are being held hostage and many of the omg term holders HAVE averaged down and continued to support Matad over the years. The problem is the share price keeps falling.

People are afraid of losing everything they have put in, but by putting in more doesn't guarantee they win get anything back.

Matad knows this. It's the reason they continue to ruthlessly attempt to milk the market. People should refer back to he strategy of bidding for the Borzon Block.

This will be another cycle of what we have seen. Some investors might want to average down and see what happens at the end of the next 8 years. Further dilution will be guaranteed. The SP in 8 years time, if Matad is still listed, would be sub 1p with decimals, closer to 0.05 etc.

If Matad still doesn't deliver, which is a likely bet based on their past records, the result will be the same. Like a lamb on a truck, although the route has been altered, the fate of the lamb remains the same.

And why would anybody trust these guys anyway. What they originally said about Heron, we should be a producer raking in sufficient revenue by now.

No matter what MB says about Borzon, why would anyone believe based on the prospect discrepancies the company has made over years.

Matad does not deserve anymore funding in my honest opinion. They have had £174 million over the years. It's no small sum but despite that they have made very little use of that funding.

All the claims about unsuccessful drills, licencing fees, and surveys conducted, who can verify whether the funds have actually gone into those operating programmes.

One thing for certain is Matad have not delivered despite having excessive time and funding. The fact the Heron wells are sitting there with issues, together with the bureaucratic hurdles only further highlight how incompetent the BODs are. They have misled the market by reassurance exclusivity and support from the Mongolian Government. This is a lie.

To further rub salt onto the wounds of long term holders, Mike Buck is already eyeing new commitments of up to £14.9million on the Borzon Block. Where is he going to find the funds. He isn't expecting the market to fund him for that surely?

Why would the market fund Matad looking at the constant past failures. Who in their right mind would support the Borzon project with another 8 years of waiting and dilution.

Investors have invested because they were told Heron would make Matad from an exploration company onto an oil producer with millions barrels potential.

We were never here to hop from one failed miserable campaign to another. Mike Buck has a lot to answer and anyone that thinks it's okay to further fund the company is a complete mug honestly.

The company couldn't stay in line with their objectives and constantly coming up with new ways to milk the shareholders. How about deliver some results first if you want to ask for money.

MB should know he can't have it both ways. You either produce some results or if he can't just step down. Don't keep coming back to the market asking for funds without any achievements.

Nobody should fund these guys anymore. Shareholders have heard enough. It's time to deliver. If they can't just fold the company for good.

Exactly doc. It was only after Matad have messed up then the genuine investors started to express their dissatisfaction.

So the rampers point about us share bashing don't stand.

The Matad SP had been on a constant decline since 10 years ago and shareholders were very supportive then.

Especially during the COVID period, people were understandable and allowed time for the company to regain their control.

Don't forget shareholders bought in the retail offer to save the company and help them keep their lights on (this was after COVID), and what did Mike Buck do with the funds?

He forking blew the lot on Gobi wildcat when work haven't even commenced on Heron.

That was no way in line with the company strategy. It also shows Mike Buck's disrespect to the shareholders that have supported Matad during their most difficult time.

Fast forward to now, the old geezer is doing the same. He bids for the new Borzon Block without even first rectifying Heron. The Borzon Block carries a financial commitment of up to £14.9million.

Again, this is not in line of the company's strategy, not what he had told shareholders at the very least.

The question is what is that old geezer doing? Time after time he loses focus (intentionally) to go chase another rainbow. He knows very well Matad has limited funding. Its the CEOs decisions that has caused this disastrous share price downtrend and every investor has the right to complain.

Don't get me started because I haven't even mentioned the missing paperwork which caused a drill on loan being charged £60K daily. Another case of wasting company funds.

Now it has been 6 months and still no sight of the export signature. I dare say it's all lies. These guys are intentionally dragging out processes to benefit themselves. That is why I suggest a demand into a full investigation for potential market misconduct and abuse.

I don't believe how one company can have so much problems over the years.

Quick FACT check:

- export signature still not obtained after 6 months

- H1 producing 200bopd and not 821bopd

- H2 suspended

- approx £2mil in the Matad bank

- Monthly expenditure is approx £250-300K?

Without factoring additional operational costs

- Placing possible. MB at the AGM said they wouldn't rule out a placing

- £174 million raised over 10 years plus. Not a penny of revenue to-date

- Matad is relying on Petro China for their storage facility.

Can't see it exploding as the other title suggests.

Perhaps extraterrestrial lifeforms will invest in Matad too?

My theory is that something must have gone wrong for Heron, and MB knows so he bidded for the new block Borzon, thinking ahead in order to keep the business going.

Petro China must also knew about the issues with Heron, let it be the bureaucracy processes or the field itself, it is the reason they never wanted Heron.

Why else would MB be thinking about Borzon if MATD was sitting on billions barrels of oil. He would be shouting all over the rooftops to drill additional Heron wells if they were on the verge of success.

Something is definitely not right and this is supported by the issues at Heron and the delays for the export signature.

Again, time will tell whether MB isn't being transparent with the investors. I will say in advance, 200bopd would not cut it if MB thinks that is a satisfying result.

Let's be honest here.

Would any of the long term holders have invested here if they KNEW the lack of support from the Mongolian Government.

And would you have invested if you KNEW of the Heron issues and the drag it has now become

And would you have invested if you KNEW the CEO would be committing to new projects like Borzon (which carries financial commitments that Matad simply don't have) before even monetizing on Heron

Let's get real. These are the factors that have impacted the share price negatively and with the current issues and the new financial commitments underway, expect further raises which would translate to further drop in the share price.

Genuine holders should demand a full investigation into Matad.

1) £174million spent over the years and not a penny of revenue achieved. The accounts should be audited to see if they match up with the operational costs as claimed.

2) There has been numerous operational delays when the CEO have promoted "exclusivity and support" from the Mongolian Government.

Yet, in over 10 years investors are still waiting for first sale with no guarantee in sight.

The lack of transparency on the issues involved could be a strong case of market misconduct as MATD have constantly reassured investors and promoted the good connections with the Mongolian Government.

In reality, it is the complete opposite and investors were mislead into investing into the false prospect of the company.

Points for reference:

-All of the wild cat drills were off the mark despite investors being advised on 60-70% chance of success.

-5 years to obtain the land permit despite good connections with the Mongolian Government

-Payout to the local environmental protestors for land access were another company mismanagement which has impacted shareholders

-6 months and still waiting for the export signature

-In what appears to be an over commitment / shift of focus from Heron to Borzon. Investors original bought into the strategy of steadily expanding on the portfolio and becoming a self-funded company.

However, with Matad without even bringing Heron onto production, the CEO is already committing to a new block.

This does not go in line with the initial strategy of becoming a self sufficiently funded company. Matad just don't have the funds to be committing to multiple projects.

Intentionally or not, it has been a complete shambles for Matad and all the long term holders have lost money. The outlook is grim and trust is gone. Issues and uncertainties remains around the company's forecasted oil production and revenue. The strategy is poor and Matad have lost sight of the focus. They are over committing despite continued failure to bring on a revenue stream.

Meanwhile, they are hanging onto the approx £2million in the bank.

It's evident that there were never any shareholder value. The company's intent were never about that. It's more about the BODs keeping their own pay cheques and shareholders will be further diluted each year.

MATD is a no go zone until the CEO can prove there is a strong investment case here that will create shareholders value.

It has all the hallmarks of a **** unfortunately.

In the last 10 years, the SP have been consistently drifting to new lows, from a high of £2 in 2011 to now 1.5pence.

When will the company start generating some revenue? They have raised £174 million and have achieved naught.

H1 is the last chance for MATD imho.

Yet, 6 months in and still no export signature or any updates with the Heron fix.

The rampers are really the ones sitting in their cubicles, hired by the MMs to write good things about the company.

Why else would a group of people be on here 24/7 harassing the genuine holders. The more I look at Matad the more it stinks..

How about just deliver some results rather than these cheap tricks.

Nothing has ever been achieved and to-date not a penny of revenue.

The market has lost confidence in Matad and rightly so.

It's time for Buck to deliver, no more talks, actions!

No good saying they WILL do instead of reporting to the market they HAVE done.

What's holding them back?

10 years not enough time for them to sort themselves out?

£174 million isn't enough to get one producing well onto production?

This company operates on new hopes and raises, but nothing ever materializes like the JV talks that has been ongoing for 10 years

Cash is low in the Matad bank, they will require funding and a placing is most likely.

The long term holders have all lost money here. Gone are the days people invest based on words and trust, we want results.

If MB is that incompetent, then perhaps he should find a job at the local corner shop selling chewing gums instead.

Given this is Matad, I wouldn't be surprised if a new hurdle just pops out of no where before them resolving the current ones. We shall see.
