According to the following extract from the Dividend RNS of 26 March should we expect an RNS for this?:

The dividend is payable in cash in Sterling to holders of the ordinary shares. Sterling dividends payable will be converted from US dollars at the average of the mid-point of the market exchange rate on 8 April, 9 April and 10 April 2025. Accordingly, the Group will confirm the foreign exchange rate and the amount of the Sterling dividend payable in pence per share on 11 April 2025.

$585 million? That would be about 35 cents a share annually, which equals about 27p per share annually?

2024 Highlights:

· Material dividend distributions to shareholders with third interim 2024 dividend of $200 million declared today delivering total 2024 dividends declared of $500 million, in line with our 2024 target

· Reaffirming dividend policy for 2025 targeting dividend of 30% post-tax CFFO, with a dividend target of $500 million for FY 2025

Thanks londoner7. I did notice the $500 million to shareholders last year was expected to be the same for this year. That would imply a similar payout, dependent on the US$ exchange rate at the time.

I asked the question as a recent convert to ITH. Last year there appeared to be a lesser second dividend in September followed by a Special Dividend in December to make up the difference.

Expecting $500 million for dividends for the year. After this distribution of $200 million can we expect $300 million for the second in September or a bit less plus the remainder in a special dividend in December?

Ex dividend this week. The market seems unimpressed. It's not as high as the Prelim dividend but taken together a very reasonable return.

And LGEN goes ex dividend in two weeks with an increased dividend confirmed. 🤔

Actually I take your point about the substance of your post. I just am concerned about ridiculing his post. I like to read all posts, including those that appear to admit a failed investment.
