You've all probably noticed: not a single post from Toff today. They always disappear off when they fail. Probably trying elsewhere on social media. It pays to call them out. Literally.

They effect the SP by getting people to sell with fear. They should be confronted, not just ignored. Ignoring allows them to succeed and the value of your investment falls.

At best extreme arrogance. At worst a shorter being condescending and abusive in an attempt to persuade others to sell to fulfill their aim of dropping the SP substantially.

Shorting would seem to be a legitimate activity. However the crass antics they deploy make it into the worst type as they try to get you to sell at a loss to achieve their target of buying back borrowed shares at a cheaper price to make a profit.

'If' is not doing so much work. We've had two RNSes and three significant Director buys. They are buying.

Another significant Director purchase. Using their own money to show their confidence in the company.

Useful post. Some unfortunate timings of decisions but overall the essential factor is the cash picture, which is good and will protect from such decisions.

The Director buying is an indication of confidence in the company. Beware of Directors in companies that don't buy their shares.

You are doing precisely what you accuse Shadowfall of doing. Your kind of advice is toxic as it's encouraging people to sell. For what reason would you want that? Shorting of course. If you think Phoenix is toxic you should try some AIM shares.

Standard wording under Legal Disclaimers. They will always review the dividend.

Generally shorters use forums and social media to scare investors into selling. They get quite abusive calling optimistic views out as absurd, etc regardless of the realities. Targeting multiple sources of social media is quite effective. They disappear abruptly when the share turns around and their target has been achieved, or otherwise.

You seem very convinced? Any such drop of a share of quality companies like PHNX are generally due to shorting. Are you shorting PHNX? You do seem very convinced. Either that or it's keyboard arrogance.

The drop for the dividend from a close price of 507p was expected as 481p. The current SP of 477p is no more than the usual sink below that before the inevitable recovery. PHNX is an excellent company with a good outlook.

Yield is a personal calculation. Totally dependent on the individuals bought in price.

Mongooser may be a little over the top but he is essentially correct. EUA has already increased significantly and it does have the last known unconsolidated Palladium resource. Don't discount it so quickly. Other Palladium resources are already known in Canada and South Africa and are playing out. Fresh Palladium is needed. EUA provides it.

However I can understand most here would be much more risk averse than to invest in such a company. I look at HSBA for the dividend returns. But that's not gone too well recently has it? And China is also a risk with HSBC involved there.

Oh dear. The doubters are out in force. They appear to be the market 'experts' who browse stocks, make a profit and move on. The knowledgeable with Eurasia will know the history and the BoD and how they operate. It's complex and each move reinforces things. Move on if you wish. Most are staying for the dividend. In more senses than one.

The Tradeflow bit was new. Nothing RNSed yet but he talked as if it is actually happening.

AC's sells may have been a transfer, but still were for the eventual deal and reinforce the ongoing deal point even more.

SP Angel joined as Nomad, just in time during suspension. UBS and DLA Piper join last July. Alexei Churakov sells a large chunk in January as he'd assumed a deal would have been done by then and he's on the inside as an advisor. Rosgeo JV and Japanese RNSes appear to complicate the situation and make the market think this is ongoing for longer when those deals would have been in the pipeline for some time. Then we have an EGM for a simple share issue resolution with just two months before an AGM. Just to keep the negotiating going or because the bidder needs an answer to that resolution before the AGM? I get the strong impression this is happening soon, as in before or by the AGM.

Youngman, we know he is real as we see the 8.3 forms. The reason for selling is entirely plausible.
