The BOD are not doing all they can. Two significant items that are missing: 1. Director share buying 2. Bombarding the business press with positive news items to make this company high profile. There are items beyond their control, but there are other items within their control which they are ignoring.

Six months? If the directors acted now with some buying at this very cheap price and the Chairman and CEO came out from their ivory tower with some positive information for the market and business news press this share price should go up tomorrow. Under 5p is a ridiculous price for this share. The market has no confidence in this company and the directors are just hiding away. Run the company by all means but if they ignore the share price the company they are running will fall in value and that is just what has happened over this year.

This is becoming tedious. And I don't just mean the exchanges between elland and Stockbuyer. No, this company is shrivelling up with nothing being done to stop it by the board of directors. Maybe the lack of director buying is because the rig which was successful at KSR-A is being moved to another location and they feel they can not buy in because it may be construed as illegal under the rules. Today there was small investor buying until the end of the day when there were two small sells. What's it going to take to get this board of directors to get of their backsides and do something to get this company moving? Closing at 4.82p and they are happy with that? If not there is absolutely no evidence to the contrary.

I can not agree with your last comment elland. Stockbuyer is bringing some invaluable information to this board and clearly knows what he is talking about. Negative it might be but it is also factual. There are some positives aswell but the negatives need to be stated as well. I think, eland, you need to direct your comments to the board of directors and not members of this forum board. The company is continuing to damage itself as well as shareholders by its lack of public relations and lack of director buying. Don't **** off Stockbuyer just because he is sharing some home truths with us.

There has been talk on this forum of a possible takeover for some months now. Is there evidence of any actual possible takeover from any company?

I personally fully understand your negativity as your 'team' has lost a lot of money over the last year. The danger now is that Circle Oil are continuing to allow this share price to fall to a very low level. Their lack of public relations and director share buying is ensuring the share price stays low. This has nothing to do with being on the AIM market and everything to do with not doing the necessary to get investors interested in COP.

That's still 4 times the current share price. Not likely in the short or even medium term. The market has little confidence in COP. Even after the good result with KSR-A and with the contract price for gas at around $10 the share price has actually fallen back to 4.78p with some substantial sells. This company needs to get its act together to get some more investment as currently share holders are selling and without any public relations input from the company that will continue. Surely they can seen that?

You are both correct except Stockbuyer is talking about the past and elland the future. Let's hope elland is correct. However the market doesn't currently have a lot of confidence, despite the recent good news.

I understand the AIM market is more volatile. That usually means a poor performance causes a share price to fall more substantially. Equally a good performance usually results in a share price popping. In the case of COP a good performance has resulted in what the Irish Independent called a 'muted' reaction. COP has collapsed in recent months and has lost over 80% of its value over the last year. One might think a good performance would result in a pop of this share price.

That surely must be a very disappointing day for the board? To have that news and for the share price to react in such an unimpressive way must surely make them realise how important their lack of public relations, and how important getting investors to want to buy in to this company, is? Without investors this company share price is going no where. Prospective investors need to know about it and be convinced it is a good company. And not just those like us who already know about it.

It's nice to have someone competent joining the board. How he will effect it is yet to be seen. Mitch Flegg joined as CEO a few months ago yet we have yet to see any change because of him. Even though the fundamental way the company operates appears to have changed in the way they now drill there has been no change in the lack of public relations. Director purchases are fundamental to them showing confidence in the company. Maybe they don't have the spare cash? Certainly Mitch Flegg thinks the under £10k investment he made in June is a lot of money. Personally that indicates to me they don't have a lot of spare cash.

And this forum has gone very quiet considering the RNS as well!

For such a substantial find at KSR-A the market reaction has been unimpressive. Currently showing seven sells or n/a's at under 5.5p. This company needs to get a better PR department.

Petrofac is another one. 733p a few days ago and now 947p! Almost 30% up. Definitely a lot of reticence with COP. I still think they need to get good news out to the market, if there is good news. They need investors and not telling is not conducive to getting them.

It's all come to a grinding halt. Four smallish sells so far this morning. No buys. No news still on KSR-A. We're two weeks from the date it might have been expected. Apparently it should be a good news story but any good news should have been apparent by now. This company should be eager to get any good news out there.

Yes, and oil popped 4.5% after midday. Should be good for COP.

Well, is this going to pop? Double the current price is still low for COP.
