Yes. Unfortunately, as I have said, the share price now has a long way to go to return to just a reasonable level. A 50% rise from here would still put it at less than 10p. That would still be very low for COP.

The nightmare scenario of course is it sinking down and down and never coming back up again. It is feeling like that right now. Weeks and weeks of no word from the company and a gradual and continuous reduction of the share price. What is going on here?

It's all been said many times on this forum. Now we need the Directors to direct. We need answers and reasons. Either the market has got COP completely wrong or it is in serious trouble and we are not being told.

I would also like to disagree but the evidence is stacking up and I am now not the only one questioning why there has been nothing heard from the Directors of Circle Oil. As I have said before to say nothing is not an option, but nothing has been said so it clearly is an option. The result though is a share price that is making Circle Oil a basket case. COP are neither? There is no evidence of that in the share price. Elland you have the email address of Susan Prior. She needs to be questioned as to why she is happy for the share price to collapse without saying anything to bolster confidence in the market. Currently there is none.

The most recent trades don't add up either. Apparently some are buying at 6.15p. They will be giving them away soon.

And the buy price is still at 7p.

Now ten trades. All sells, except one n/a. Mostly small amounts but still serious for COP at this share price.

Four sells within 33 minutes and no buys, all below 7p. This is getting silly.

Right now COP needs some good news specific to Circle Oil. The oil price may be down again but the gas price is still stable and currently at $2.78. But Circle has contracts at $10, so isn't effected by the market price anyway. COP needs some news in the form that Ramerci and elland have been placing on this forum, but officially from the Circle Oil Directors. Without that COP may well sink further. With it COP may well recover substantially as the current share price is by far the lowest it has ever been.

That is one view. Others take the view the oil price may stay low for ten years, including the bosses of Shell and BP. We had a low point in mid January this year followed by a steady rise to $65 for Brent and then a sudden collapse to the present $48. The only thing that is sure is the unpredictability of the oil price. What is more COP seems to be reluctant to rise but is easily knocked down, even at the current very low share price.

I would have thought a takeover even more likely now. This company could be bought up at this share price for very little now.

The website has a general email address. elland has a specific one for Susan Prior. A reply from the general one will only be telling me what we already know. The regulations don't allow the Directors to make pronouncements before the interim results, etc. etc.. This share is clearly very easy to manipulate. Very small sells of a few tens of pounds push the price down when buys of several tens of thousands of pounds have no upward effect. Any hedge fund manager will look at COP as a juicy target for easy manipulation when it can be forced down so easily. Force it down and then pick the low point which they would have created to buy in again and off you go. Whatever the regulations say about what Directors can do at this point they must be allowed to prevent that kind of manipulation.

In the meantime the share price closed at just 6.88p. If the Directors allow this kind of misinformation to get around investors will be put off. Now a doubling of the share price will only put it back to where it was at the end of May. Correct information needs to be put out there from the Directors.

Now 10 sells. No buys.

By 11:23 9 sells are not a single buy so far. At this price this is really concerning for this company. Can't see how the company can just wait this out.

So far 7 sells this morning at just 7p each sell and the last at 6.99p. Can't understand that or the lack of any response from the Directors. They must feel their hands are tied by regulations or they just don't know how to respond. Natural Gas is up at $2.87 almost as high as it has been all this year. I know Circle have a fixed contract at $10 but the higher market gas price must positively influence market sentiment for a company with gas income. The low oil price certainly does, although Circle's main income is from gas.

But it is strange that such large purchases don't move the share price at all.

I admire your optimism and impeccable logic. Unfortunately the market doesn't seem to see it that way at present. Consequently the share price has fallen and may continue to fall in the short term. When any better news becomes apparent it will have much further to climb to recover. That is why I am saying the BOD should come out with some confidence boost to prevent this. Unfortunately it is now too late with the share price at almost half of its end of May value. It will take a lot of good news now to almost double in value to get it back to what was still a low figure of 13p or so. Are the BOD that restricted I what they can say pre interim results time?

The thing is in the short term he is probably right. And when the share price has sunk even further it has even further to climb back up. Who is going to risk buying this share now? That optimism of the AGM is a long way behind now.
