What is really needed is for Colin to stay in place and for us to get answers on what is ongoing by sensible questions and answers between us and Colin. If investor sentiment is raised by sensible, confident answers to our questions then that can only be a good thing. With private investors being the only investors then if you raise PI confidence and sentiment you increase investment and the SP will follow up back to a more sensible number above 2p giving a more reasonable MCap in the region of �50+ million. Getting rid of Colin will not help anyone.

CMG, saying my post is 'complete nonsense' is not showing respect. It also proves my point about keyboard warriors as your reply to it was just to abuse me as posting 'complete nonsense'. I welcome constructive criticism and you go on in your post to be quite constructive although you are also abusive to Colin. Having a placing was not Colin being 'bad at accounts' but just being bad at PR with investors. If Colin were to 'walk' for this mess then that would leave a vacuum. Who would fill it? Who with his experience of dealing with Slovenian bureaucracy, Slovenian government, their local politics, the JV partners, etc.. There isn't anyone else with that experience with respect to AST's precise relationship. People on here have clear reasons for complaining and quite often know what is needed, but you need to find that person or group of people and the situation there is unique. Knowing what is needed isn't the same as finding the solution.

Let's hope Colin fronts the AGM. The monotone monologue we had from Clive previously was just sending everyone to sleep. Unfortunately Clive is the Chairman. We need sensible questions at the AGM and as emails as well with sensible answers in reply. We need the keyboard warriors constantly having a go at Colin to back off and hopefully then Colin will start responding to the questions. Common sense and less antagonism needs to prevail. Once the idiots shouting from their keyboards and tablets have backed off maybe we can get some decent shareholder to BoD relations going. I feel Colin for one is doing his best as virtually a one man band. The others are non execs. Continually harassing him has only made him withdraw and the situation worse.

The SP fell back from September 2017 with just the October placing changing the number of shares. In November we had the INA contract confirmed and started and we had the appellant removed. All good news. The bad news causing the consistent fall in the SP from then? I can't see any. The PG 11a problems weren't revealed until much later. The BoD hadn't changed. The only thing that has been consistent since September has been the attacks on multiple platforms since the Primary Bid placing in October. Not good as Colin had said no further placings would be required. So I understand the frustration of share holders but it has become a whirlwind of anti Colin and Clive sentiment among a few vitriolic social media users far beyond the required amount to get them to respond to the situation. In fact Colin has backed off from Twitter and Clive has never been too good at the PR bit anyway. Any other problems could easily be dealt with by normal share holder relations from the BoD. That has been lacking, I grant you, but to the extent of the bile and vitriol we have seen? Colin has tried with podcasts but the few who are hardened anti Colin and the BoD are only going to make fun of those podcasts, and they did. The AGM will hopefully provide a conduit between the BoD and shareholders. I just hope we don't just get the monotone monologue from Clive as the Chairman.

Thanks blt2. My average is 0.8p fortunately with a lot having been bought into my ISA in June 2016 for 0.6p. So I'm fortunate but I have still seen my investment fall considerably in value. Many have sold out before. I traded a bit but didn't sell up. AST should be a good company to invest in with them making money on AIM (unusual) and with a gas reservoir valued at �200+ million. However the attacks made on multiple platforms, Twitter, here, etc., have killed the SP and the MCap valuation now is under �20 million. Crazy.

I prefer 'Investor Group' myself. Less threatening and seems more reasonable. If it is reasonable in questioning the BoD then I'm all for it. If it just gets angry and starts insulting the BoD then I'm not. Sensitive area as, as has been pointed out, if JV partners get to know they could well back off from getting further involved. I've read some refer to this forum as 'toxic'. We don't want an Investor Group to become toxic.

You only need one share to be able to speak at an AGM. But the more the merrier. I am wary about organisations formed on anonymous forums as the actual motives of some is often hidden. But in principle a group to question the BoD is not a bad idea. However I don't get involved in such things through anonymous forums in the same way that I don't respond to unsolicited phone calls as they are mostly scams nowadays.

I thought I took a bit of a risk when I invest in AIM (not here) but shorting this is a crazy risk now.

Ignoring a few rapid peaks and troughs in the graph the shorts have been a little over 6% since January 2015. Any recent drop from the recent peak of November 2017 has been relatively short timescale and that peak was after a rapid rise from trough of 4% in May 2017. So actually disregarding the peaks and troughs it has been around 6% as an average since January 2015. And yet we have seen a fairly rapid recent rise in the SP which surely must put those shorting companies at some considerable risk?

What I find a bit strange is with PFC rising on ongoing contract news and a rising oil price it still has a considerable amount of shorting. Short tracker shows now an increase to 7 companies involved and a total of 6.77% shorting. What do these shorting companies consider is the risk? The SFO investigation? Hasn't that been around a while now with an SP increase from the low 400s up to the current mid 600s? Seems strange that they would take such risk at this time.

Oil price just started to jump up over $77.20 for Brent.

I believe AST are good as they are with income and wells to reopen. I believe SML are excellent with four good locations . All currently funded from Cobre and with Leigh Creek to come later for funding. The other two are longer term but good future income creators.

The thing is Trump says and does these things often to get a reaction. He then tends to back off when the reaction is achieved. As with North Korea with all his threats about 'rocket man' etc.. He is now going to meet him and they will talk, despite the previous name calling. Much of the media just can't get it though. So I wouldn't expect an immediate rise of PFC to 650p, as some predicted, but a steady rise with some falling back on profit taking. All the usual market psychology.

I've been invested since the Cadogan debacle. The AST bb is terrible with some declaring the sky is falling in and others talking 10p a share. Difficult to find the few sensible posters. AST should do well with income and more to come. There are just too many with reason to want it to do badly.
