If RMA thinks copper can be extracted profitably then surely they would have kept it? Maybe they may think SML have a better chance than they had, with the expertise SML have.

Well Lupidog's post hasn't disproved the optimists, as he stated others should do to the pessimists. What we do know about the future is that the minerals SML are mining at their mining sites are crucial to future technology. We also know the tin mines in Cornwall were shut down years ago as they were considered to be depleted. New techniques are now bringing them back into play. Leigh Creek has proven copper deposits and they will be retrieved. In two years or so the methods used and discarded by previous owners will be perfected and used, in the same way as Redmoor in Cornwall is being looked at again.

We had an SP of 585p or so on similar or less news less than two months ago.

Has yesterday's RNS taken effect? Back up close to 500p again.

Could the lead time be the reason why the SP hasn't really reacted? With 3 to 4 years before production the market seems unimpressed with the RNS.

Those who succumb to the fear factor feel temporarily liberated. When the SP subsequently rises the remorse will sink in.

PFC and oil have often been disconnected in their moves. They can't just be reconnected as a reason for a PFC move when ever it then appears to be the reason.

Is this shorters taking it down to satisfy their needs? Or just a small trough in the SP? I understood from most this was moving up. Has the sentiment changed again?

Would the issue of new shares under the Leigh Creek settlement in April be a possible reason for the SP holding back?

Let's see what tomorrow brings. After the recent ups and downs I'm not so sure this has broken out upwards. Too many shorters on short tracker for that.

Ex-divi 26th April is still some time away. Plenty of time for the shorters to send this down again before they have to get out.

So which way is this going now? With all those shorters out there is this going to do the usual afternoon drop off?
