Colin wasted money on a correction to an RNS on 20th September. In fact the first RNS on that day dropped the MCap by many millions and the correction didn't retrieve all of that back. That erroneous RNS cost the company dearly.

An RNS today would cost a small amount but not having one could cost the company a lot more. The inevitable question is why an RNS with nothing to say? He has plenty to say to ensure the SP doesn't tank today with the end of the month upon us and with an implied, if not actually stated, commitment for the permits by the end of the month. He could forestall a drop in the SP with an RNS stating all is in hand and permits to be expected very soon. It would cost a small amount but would save the company by restoring some confidence. Something the RNS of 20th September failed to do.

Reso, You are fully aware that none of us have any idea who is in the SR. Your query to me, that you now repeat, is so vexatious one might think you were the appellant. The involvement of INA and that of any funding would just be a logical deduction from what is known by all of us. Stop being so petty. It's getting tedious.

Reso, I don't purport to be an 'expert' on AST like you think you do. I have explained already, several times, I look at the overall general picture. Still Gerry65 harangued me for exact numbers several times. He was basically stating I have no right to an opinion without the exact numbers he demanded. So don't throw that back at me.

Thanks Gino. He was getting abusive. I have reported him as he repeated his unreasonable accusations toward me several times. We try to have a reasonable conversation here and some make every effort to ruin it.

It depends what's been emailed. Nothing wrong with a straight forward concerned polite enquiry. The silence from Colin and ARSO is very frustrating for many.

It had an impact alright. A very bad one. Monday would be much too early. Government departments, especially Slovenian departments, are very slow. Generally things get done but they can take a long time. The permits are expected shortly but it's entirely down to ARSO and when they can issue them. Any media action would have to be carefully done. The last one only damaged the SP.

Correct HotShot. Colin has mentioned that. A lot of gas the Slovenians are not fully accessing to provide income and taxation for their government. Obvious facts are often overlooked by some who just want to be polemic.

Now you're just being daft Gerry. It doesn't need 'factual data', as you pompously put it, to know that gas left in the ground means the Slovenian are missing out. Otherwise your post is not worth replying to.

Why would anyone want to know the answers to the precise questions Gerry asked? They're not relevant to the way this SP will go. The wells will be brought on line when AST have funding to do so. That funding will come from INA or another company in the Strategic Review. Those companies will show interest if and when the permits get issued. It's nothing to do with exact figures for anything. It's all to do with whether an interested party in the SR comes forward with funding to allow the wells to be re-opened. That will happen when the permits are issued.

Gerry reference your very direct and specific questions directed at me: I'm not interested in exact figures so don't wait for any reply from me on that. Too many people want exact figures on these forums for any share. Not interested. I look at the general effect of things. In the case of AST there is gas in the ground which will reduce the cost of imported gas to Slovenia. Not interested in the exact amount. The rest of your post seemed to be just passive aggressive and taking the p*ss.

I know they could issue at any time but Wednesday does seem to be the favourite. And it's all built up to the sweet spot when there is a strong likelihood. Applications and amendments all in, weeks ago. The B.C. of C. involved and a commitment made to them.

Of course the AST RNSes have not helped in sowing confusion on the timelines but it's all coming together and now would be a good time. Otherwise the Slovenians are losing out every day they are paying for Russian gas imports. They would still need imports for the majority of their gas but at least they can pay less by getting their own gas from Petisovci.

Over a year ago we had the Court appeals going on. They were finalised last November. More amendments required in January and now finally they have all been dealt with. British Chambers of Commerce now involved with a commitment to them from ARSO. They only have AST and one other company to look after in Slovenia (Twitter post from Sophie Honey, Ambassador) so we should be high on the agenda of the B.C. of C. and ARSO. Things have changed.

Now reso why is it you say that with such glee? You're either shorting this (and not disclosing, nothing on Short Tracker) or are the appellant who wants this to do badly. Any other Slovenian would want their own country to do well.

Actually "in the next two months" doesn't mean the end of the next two months. It means during the two months. And that would in any case be two months from 9th August which equals 9th October. So it could mean by 9th October, at the latest.

Not sure why reso is revelling in the difficulties his government's department is making for AST. Slovenia are the losers. They're not getting a processing plant for this Winter. Unlikely at this rate to get one for next Winter. All of this money going out of the country to pay for imported Russian gas. Let's all celebrate the Slovenian bureaucracy eh? Let's blame the company that's trying to sort it out eh?
