This company is clearly doing very well and getting better. The selling after the Wednesday rise when the SP had already fallen back to 1.7p and below is strange when 2p could have been achieved on Wednesday morning if the sellers wanted to sell anyway. Selling now should only happen if people need the money.

The current position would look to me like selling at the bottom. Not a good look.

I believe it was down to cost and maybe a realisation that the court would not look favourably upon being appealed against for a decision it had made. I refer to the old communist mentality of authority always being right even when it's not. Maybe AST realised they would probably get nowhere appealing against the very system that would decide on that appeal. In the old system of Easter Europe you could never win that one and still wouldn't.

Interesting that we all thought the 2016 court decision was not correct and we have lejjb saying that it was illegal, to confirm our laymen's opinion. I understand you are a lawyer of some kind lejjb? It was clear to most of us here and now we have a legally trained contributor stating as much and yet the Slovene court didn't come to the correct decision? And didn't correct itself after the error was pointed out subsequently by AST?

For those who think the current situation is obvious and the permits will suddenly appear I hope it happens but the corruption that has occurred in the Slovene legal system and their government has now become clear to all. The obfuscation and intentional confusion that has occurred since the new government could be a help in the legal case if AST have capable lawyers.

Colin is qualified as a lawyer so should know better. Although one does wonder whether his words have been intentional, especially as he would know as legally trained.

People here can not be blamed at all for the current situation. They are just investing their hard earned in a share. Comments on here can be malicious but essentially the blame lies with the Slovene government's position in allowing a foreign company to invest around £50 million in their country under what now appear to be false pretences. Colin has maybe been naive in accepting assurances (now where have I heard that recently?) and has persisted with a projected at great expense when the politicians have been disingenuous.

A good point lejjb. Many people mistake litigation finance for 'no win no fee' lawyers. I did as well until recently. As ever DYOR. Unfortunately people often buy or sell for the wrong reasons without understanding the subject matter.

Be careful? What does that mean when we have no control? How can we 'be careful'?

Seriously your knowledge is invaluable to ordinary investors here who don't have your in depth knowledge.

SML isn't like other AIM companies as it is a stable well run company with good income and getting better. It did rise on good numbers on Wednesday morning but was then sold by traders who continued to sell even though the SP had fallen back. The MMs dropped the price because some were willing to sell. Why sell at a higher price if some were willing to accept less? As long as there are some willing to sell their shares cheaply the MMs will oblige.

This share has nothing to do with having a backbone or just accepting AIM as being the wild west. People have done their research. AST have a known gas field worth a minimum of £200 million. Wells are already drilled and just need working over and stimulation. It's a known resource. We're invested in an EU country which should follow EU rules.

It isn't happening because of one environmental activist and his group and a minister who is dead set against any thing that he believes is unfriendly to the environment, even when he is wrong as natural gas is better than coal or wood burning. The rest of the government is a weak coalition with a PM who has been accused of constitutional irregularities who is weak as well.

The minister and the activist are currently winning. Legal action is being looked at and other government ministers are being involved. So far it's all to no avail but progress could well be happening behind the scenes. The frustration is we don't know and Colin can't say.

Investors are understandably very annoyed with the lack of information and some wish to take positive action. It's all well meaning but could back fire mega style.

Very strange behaviour since the RNS Wednesday morning. The SP ticked up to 2p after the good news but then slumped back below where it had been before the good news. Those who could predict that could have made an easy increase in their share holding here. Selling at just over 2p and buying back in now. Frustrating isn't it?

We're still in the 1.70p to 1.80p spread. We need for that to move higher.

That's fair enough dv but it doesn't explain the current selling of 500,000 share amounts at 1.7p and 1.72p.

RMP has now risen from 2.6p to 4.4p. It's a bit dodgy to enter now when it has already risen. Probably best to stay here.

Agree mk. As I said earlier I can't understand people continuing to sell when the SP has been up to above 2p this morning when it has dropped this far. If you needed the money today then why not have sold at 2p this morning?

The corner is still some way off though.

"Haha" just about sums up the maniacal laughter coming from share holders when they see the SP. Mr. Leben has a lot to answer for. But he's playing hard to get.
