They had the IPPC before the court threw it out on the word of the appellant in April 2016. The stimulation permits application are in the same process. Look at what is happening. The process is a smoke screen for JL delaying and even preventing the granting of permits.

The permits are being held up. After many years we can now see that. The IPPC has been for years and the others are in the same process. There is no need to clutch at particular angles of your argument. For that to change the Minister needs to be persuaded or over ruled.

No answer is the same as a 'No' answer. What part of the that do you not understand?

Why would I ask them? These are politicians we are talking about with the Environment Minister. They don't answer questions they don't want to answer, as we know all too well currently here with Brexit. The evidence is in the lack of response of the Minister in the months since October when ARSO were due to issue the permits. Colin has been asked and he has said many questions have been asked and answers there have been none. When the Minister is ever ready, or forced to, the situation will be resolved. Until then we're all just waiting.

You're missing the point Alwaysup. The ministry will not answer any such questions as they are not giving any answers. They don't currently wish to issue the permits. That may change but that is currently the case. As I have said multiple times: 'No answer results in a 'No' answer'. They are not willing to reasonably answer such questions.

That is the assurance was made 6 months ago with the expected date sometime in October for the permits. I need to be clear as no doubt some will criticise my 'inaccuracy'.

I have to say it did make me laugh when he said it was: "unethical to promote your loss on others" when reso is always promoting his opinion in a sanctimonious way. As you rightly point out the SP is only where it is because of the lack of permits when AST and JV partners have done everything required of them. Colin may not be the best of CEOs but he would be a hero right now if the permits had arrived when promised to the B.C. of C. last August (yes, 6 months ago!).

Jure Leben is certainly dead set against the natural gas from Petisovci. TPT and a couple of others seem to think he is just going through the procedures thoroughly. Others are like EC who think this is never going to happen.

I tend to think it's somewhere in the middle of those views. Political pressure on Leben from other politicians and from the general public if they are made aware of the situation as far as needing energy and not using coal and wood burning. Politicians operate on the views of the public as that is where their votes come from.

This may be gradually coming good for AST or it may just be going no where. The truth is no one knows and we can only speculate based on previous experience. That looks poor but are things changing? Again views differ markedly.

No one here is happy. It's just that some are abusive. We're all annoyed at what is happening. Some are trying to see the way forward and others are just being abusive to people here and to AST. For the latter anyone suggesting a way forward is just moronic to them.

They're politicians. They don't think like that. If their voters love them they'll stay in power. That's what they care about.

And going lower? Some have little faith in where this company is going.
