The Foreign Secretary has been briefed on Ascent Resources and was accompanied by the Ambassador to meetings with the Slovene PM and their Foreign Minister. The subject of the mistreatment of Ascent Resources should have been brought up at the meetings. We wait and see what comes of it. It should be brought up at the meeting next week if there's nothing further between now and then.

I've sent him an email asking that question as I will not be able to attend. Hopefully those at the meeting will back up the question and get CH to give a satisfactory answer. If he hasn't done anything about the Jeremy Hunt visit then he should do so via Sophie Honey as soon as possible. His (and our) company depends on getting the politics sorted now.

Can't see any trades at all so far this morning. This will drift lower without any buying interest. Whoever wants to buy in currently have no problems to do so at a very good price. I wish I had more cash available.

As the situation with the permits has essentially become political I would like someone to ask him whether Jeremy Hunt's visit has had any effect on the attitude of Jure Leben and the Slovene government. And if not why hadn't CH pushed that aspect. We're past caring about diplomatic niceties now. We need answers to forthright questions. Abuse isn't required, just forthright questions. Get to the point.

Sounds good to me. SML is certainly a good bet for future dividend and more so for capital increase in the shorter term.

And the IIs will push up the SP.

Saw the same with PFC. Dividend at around 6% but the SP rose 8 times that to 50%. Was I going to wait 8 years? Err ... no.

Even then the dividend payout would only be around 1% to 2% max.. Other shares are paying out far higher than that. It will be some time before SML becomes a good dividend payer. Really investors are looking for a capital increase here and 5.5p is a strong possibility.

If you are investing for dividends why not go for a high dividend paying share? No one is here for any possible future dividends right now. If they are they'll be waiting even longer than Redmoor pays out, so a few years.

Anyone buying on advice from Lister would require a bid price of at least 0.35p and really at least 0.4p to make a profit. So he wasn't successful was he?

Err .. why would I do that? I haven't said Colin is wonderful. I've just said this constant diatribe from someone is absurd as we all know the situation is bad. That doesn't require you to turn on me. Or for the four who recommend your post to do so either.
