That is an exploration company drilling where the geology and sub surface scanning technology says there should be oil. But it may not be there. With AST we have a proven gas field with wells already in place. We just need the politics sorted out to access the known gas field more efficiently. It should come. It's just when.

And after a while someone gets bored and sells. A small sell at just 1.67p just showed up. Unfortunately that just gives the MMs more ammo to keep the SP down. They want our shares cheaply.

They are mostly traders who want to buy in cheaper. Reso is a classic case here. Openly stated he's just a trader and not an investor.

Colin needs to build the case for investing in AST. JB is the new COO as the experienced oil man. He can deal with the technical side. It's now up to Colin to use his experience in Slovenia with AST to get the PR moving. They have a proven gas reservoir, with old wells that just need reopening and just need to get the politics sorted with the Slovene government. As JB has said it's very unusual to have an AIM company with that situation. It's even more unusual to have such a company with such a low MCap for the value of the proven gas field.

A few very small buys pushing this up this morning from a very low base. Surprisingly little interest in a profitable and well organised AIM company.

Still well below the 1p it had been and that was a very low price for 88E. We had 3p just before Icewine 2 went wrong. Winx is showing good promise but the SP needs to respond.

Some very useful notes from the meeting, thanks lejjb. It was particularly interesting to note JB's expert points about the gas reservoir and use of compression equipment. AST are currently accessing gas from the middle layer with the lower and upper layers still available to be tapped.

I am also very aware of the current problems with 88E in Alaska where they are drilling to see if they can find oil. AST have a proven gas reservoir with wells already in place and just requiring compression equipment and possible deepening. AST are already producing gas and are in a great position to access more of the proven gas reservoir. This isn't just a search for gas. It's there.

There seems to be some here who are still pushing for a legal case. The game has changed with Jure Leben out and it's been pointed out that starting legal action would suspend the permitting process. The legal case needs to be built and kept on the back burner as our 'no deal' type persuasion to ensure we get the permits in a timely manner after all the delays over many years. ARSO have already been through the applications very thoroughly and so it's not much to ask for the permits to be swiftly issued now.

We get various posters on here who believe they have the answer to the share valuation in graphs, the figures or the stars. The two fundamental facts that have now changed are fundamental to this company succeeding.

The environmental zealot of an environment minister in Slovenia has been moved on. We have yet to see who replaces him and whether they just allow ARSO to make the decision as the experts.

AST now have an oil and gas expert as COO in charge dealing with the necessary decision making at AST. Colin has been a well meaning CEO in charge up till now but didn't have the oil and gas expertise necessary to really get this moving at Petisovci.

We have a new dawn, although the old Dawn was also quite good. Maybe she'll be back again.

I would agree Kashdog. The situation has changed completely with Jure Leben gone and John Buggenhagen coming in. You learn from the past but things are different now. Your investment should only improve from here on. I use the word 'should' to avoid the IMO ending. :-)

Never too sure what to think when posters end their posts with 'IMO'. It either happened or it's just an opinion.
