I have just taken another 200k out of the available pot.....I need to reign in these impulse purchases!

I've taken another nibble this morning, (150000 for the doubters) I think we have fallen a bit too far in short period of time. The he company has a fantastic future and I didn't expect to see this price come round again.

That was me......ensuring I have a bit more skin in the game especially at this price.

Of course we have read the RNS.....did you not see half dozen comments before you pointed it out to us?

I'm feeling a bit more optimistic about a more sustainable upwards movement now.

I do so hope that you are wrong Scamp.....we don't deserve that. I think we have suffered enough already in the last 18 months.

Seadoc, for a pleasant change it has gone against the shorters. I hope you closed out early enough not to be too badly burned.
Mind you I know it can just as easily go the the other way again.....I'm guessing there will be another tranche of shorted shares put in place.

Trump is causing mayhem all over the world!

I will be very disappointed on Monday morning if IQE do not see a improvement in the share price after the thawing in relations between USA and China.
We have been battered in the last few weeks most of it due to the trade war that was materially affecting trade between China and the rest of the western world. I think this news merits a positive re-rating of our share price once again.....let's see what happens.

This is being pumped every single day with people who have nothing to say except...,,what the the share price.......or.....get in now while you have the chance, etc, etc

If only they were right....it might help to offset the horrendous fall of IQE today!

Fully invested and waiting on any sort of good news to be announced......if and whenever that might be. ??

Seadoc I like your honesty and sensible and sensitive posts even though I was nearly crying into my coffee there. I also like the fact you do not gloat about large falls.

We have both been invested for similar amounts of time in IQE and I am suffering some horrendous paper loss in value from the heady highs of £1.80's.
I was lucky enough to pick up quite a few shares at 4.5p and bought all the way to 50p where we are now. I had also continued to purchase all way up as high £1.50

You are right in your assessment of doing nothing is not an option as it may well take a while to climb out of this perfect storm of a mess. My favoured option is to average down which I have done many times giving me a large holding but I am already top heavy in IQE which is a little bit concerning. I have also been top slicing a portion of shares buying and selling on rises and falls and this has been a reasonably good strategy in the last couple of years.

A fall like today's is a bit of a watershed moment and I hope that this is as bad as it gets.....that's why I was dismayed to read your possible scenario of a fall to 33p Surely that would be too far and it would undervalue the company.

If everyone stops buying phones from Huawei, they are still going to purchase a mobile from another vendor and the chances that we are supplying wafers for those phones is around 90% That is why I cannot understand why we are being punished so hard today.

I just wish Mr Trump would pull his finger our and agree a deal with China that will be a win win for everyone and not just America......fat chance!

That will be the shorters closing out and cashing in on their profits. Let's hope this is ground zero today and from here we will be a properly valued company free from all these shenanigans.

Just read today's RNS ref KIA holding announcement of 3% of IQE
This appears to be a new holding unless they were sitting below the mandatory holding announcement figures that would require an RNS.

Let's hope they are building a stake in the hope getting a good return via growth and they are not shorting the share.

Thanks for the replies, so what we are saying here we are not just about Reg21 compliance....which is going to be massive. We are also doing exploratory research helping to develop new products to bring to market.

Pilgrim1 I thought there was a new minimum testing price set by Integumen which was raised from the original £2k up to a hefty £50k I guess you may be able to queue jump if you are prepared to pay more.

Wadnob you are missing my point, surely the size of the tampon market is irrelevant, if there are say 10 different types (scuse my ignorance) or versions of tampon and they have been certified as meeting Reg21 ....hopefully tested by Integumen.
Where is the recurring revenue? It doesn't matter to Integumen if every woman in China decides to begin using tampons as we will not be getting a share of the income.

Am I missing something re the size of the Chinese tampon market?
My understanding is that every product that will touch a human body needs to be tested to the new EU standard.

Firstly is China covered by this reg?
Secondly if a product is put through Integumens testing procedure, is that not it over and done with, box ticked and certification granted. Why is the size of the Chinese market so important once the product has been tested?

We would hope to get recurring revenues if the manufacturers want to change the make up of any part of the product which would be a bonus. Apart from that I do not see how the population size would be relevant whether it was China or Poland for example.

The size of the market open to us is huge because of the amount of products that will need to be certified and that has fantastic potential, we appear to be positioning ourselves in pole (scuse pun) position here which a wonderful place to be.

I take your point Brooko19 but unless I am sitting watching the Integumen BB waiting on KUMS to post and I read it within the 15 minutes, the L2 advantage is kinda lost.

The buy and sell price is already showing on the discussion page.....so I am scrolling down the discussion pages to see if anyone has found some interesting information or research on the company....only to open page after page from KUMS telling me what the price was 5...4...3...2...1 hours ago, which by the time I had read it is totally irrelevant.

What is the point in this? I'm not trying to provoke any argument , I'm all for sharing useful information but please make it worthwhile for everyone if you are going to post something.

The BB is getting filled up with unnecessary comments on every minuscule percentage point of a move. If you log to read if anything of real interest has happened you end up wasting loads of time clicking through pointless posts of what the current price is or might be.
I am loving this share right now and am delighted with the progress being made and the 'interesting' and informative links that people are finding.
We have no need to ramp this share, just let the story unfold as the RNS's come in with good news......polite request ??
