A holder of IQE? Yes, long time.....more than 20 years and I have the wrinkles and scars to prove it lol.
My lowest ever purchase was at 4.5p but sadly my highest was £5.50 (It was actually £55 but they did a 100 for one share reorganisation just after that).
I have bought and sold many times but never been out completely since first purchase. I have been and probably still am over-invested here. But I have been a big fan of the technology and the potential we have always had as a company.
I have been sorely disappointed more times than I care to remember and I am once again beginning to see some unexpected optimism appearing despite the horrendous situation the world finds itself in.
Good luck all other holders....not how many can go as far back as me...I'm sure there will be a couple of us.

I think we will see a big push once they announce they managed to miniaturise the testing kit and make it much more portable. That will be game changing! :o)

Jeez, Baraboy123 is typical of the type of posters who give AIM and bulletin boards such a bad name.
They invade (or pollute) all sorts of boards like a pack of jackals shouting and screaming, telling everyone to do this or that just to suit their own agenda.

They fill the message boards with a load of tripe calling for people to fill their boots while they can and pick a ridiculous number to say what the share price should be.
Then before you know it they are telling you they have sold up and you should do the thing right away if you you do not want to lose your money.

Barraboy123 is a classic example and his posting just before 10am headlined 'SELL SELL SELL' is typical of their modus operandi. The post has been deleted, which I would like to say was not of my doing, but I was was happy to see it gone as I wanted to post a rebuttal there. The page had been taken down before i could reply to his dross.

Most posters can see right through the 'herd' and rightly ignore them, I just wish they could put their efforts into doing proper research and making constructive and informative postings.
But I guess that is the world we inhibit right now where it is every man or woman out for themselves.

That is recurring revenue which is just what we want to see and imagine the numbers rising as more customers buy the technology. :0)

My order has just been fulfilled....and I got them a wee bit cheaper than when I was trying to buy them yesterday :o)

I was a bit perturbed today when I was unable to purchase any shares on my Barclays account.....no proper explanation given.

Furryboots, don't stop contributing to your pension just because of the current crisis. What has just happened as far as the stock markets are concerned is exceptional and totally unprecedented. The markets will come back again once this blows over and we get back to rebuilding our lives and the economy.
The money you commit to your pension is treated to the best interest rate you could hope to achieve thanks to the tax relief applied to it. Your pension is a long haul and that is the best way to win in the markets in the long term.
It must be gutting to see the current valuations, but believe me it will come back and the more you commit at these ridiculously low stock prices the better rewarded you will be in the long term.

They aren't games, they are corrupt and underhand methods of fleecing innocent investors of their cash and potentially destroying viable businesses.
I would happily ban all hedges funds and shorting tomorrow if I could. I would equally want stricter enforcement regarding blatant misrepresentation or misinformation in respect to ramping of companies.

I'm really surprised that we didn't see a decent spike in the share price after today's RNS.
We are well used to reading woolly RNS's about this distribution deal or that partnership agreement somewhere in the world all promising jam tomorrow.

Today's RNS seemed a bit different as Opti are apparently claiming a medical breakthrough in the treatment of high blood pressure or hypertension....what's not to like about that?

If the claims of using LP(LDL) are to be believed or proven to be correct then we are on to a winner here.

Maybe the medical sample of 40 people is deemed too small to claim it as proven, but it does look like quite a compelling story here.

I think the boss needs to begin another charm offensive and do the rounds of the TV, Online and printed press extolling the benefits of LP(LDL) both from a medical and financial point of view.

I have so much hope for this company and the share price going forward , mind you I am really surprised as to the retracement we suffered in the last couple of weeks.
In saying that, I am happy that it has now given me the opportunity to build a substantial holding (for me).

Yes they talk about 'good leavers' getting all of their share options....what about good investors who have been invested longer than these employees have worked for IQE!
I have been invested in IQE FOR 20 years now and have never even received so much as a reply to an email in all that time.
They do not give a toss about private investors IMHO.

I am really surprised at the lack of movement in the share price since the recent placement. Prior to that we had daily meanderings within a small range, but recently we are like treacle with very little variation.
The narrative is fantastic with what appears to nothing but upside and optimism for the future.
I guess I should be happy that I had managed to pick up another tranche of stock at 1.51 last week.
I'm sure this time next year we will be trading at levels way above our current base, this is not a short term punt for me as I am definitely looking at the long game as SKIN seems to be a company with massive growth potential and full of promise.

There were also several pictures of scantily clad women on the page which I had to swiftly shutdown as the Mrs was right by my side and I don't think she would have believed me if I told her it was financial site I was looking at. Lol
Maybe the tt had something to with it ;o)

This has to be my last, but since it is around the placing price I figured it will hopefully be at the bottom of this cycle....fingers crossed!
