I’m surprised about the lack of comments this morning after the results announcement. It is beginning to look a bit more hopeful here…dare I say profitable 👍

Like many others here I am very angry the way this raise has been handled especially for private investors.

I am probably one one of the longest standing IQE shareholders on this forum (possibly in the company’s history) I bought my first tranche of IQE more than 26 years ago and have topped up dozens of times over the years.

I hold a substantial amount of shares (400k) and have been nursing huge losses thanks to the mismanagement of this company.

I had a busy day yesterday and didn’t get to read my emails until after 8pm last night. I immediately logged onto my HL account to see if I could register an interest, only to read that the offer had already closed.

I had no emails from Barclays where a lot of my shares are held!

I feel this method of raising funds is very unfair and insulting to existing private shareholders. I also wonder how this can be classed as a fair and legal way to treat shareholders.

Why couldn’t this fund raising exercise be run for at least a couple of businesses days instead of an RNS dropping at the close of market and on a VERY short timeframe…rant over!

Investing.com -- SkinBioTherapeutics PLC (LON:SBTX) on Monday said it has launched an investigation into former CEO Stuart Ashman following allegations of material financial misrepresentation that will force a 17% reduction in the company’s reported 2025 revenue.

The British skin-health group confirmed it will reverse £770,000 in royalty income, a move expected to significantly widen operating losses and leave fiscal 2026 results well below market expectations.

SkinBioTherapeutics said new information received late on Feb. 13 cast "significant doubt" on the validity of the royalty income, which it believes was included due to a "potential misrepresentation" by former CEO Stuart Ashman.

Ashman, who was suspended on Feb. 13 pending an investigation into his conduct, has since resigned. The company informed him of the allegations on Feb. 15 and has reported its findings to auditors.

The revenue reversal will push the company’s adjusted EBITDA for fiscal 2025 to a loss of £1.17 million from a reported loss of £410,000, with operating losses widening to £1.47 million. The adjustments remain subject to auditor confirmation.

SkinBioTherapeutics warned that results for the year ending June 30, 2026, will be "significantly below current market expectations" of £6.2 million in revenue and £700,000 in adjusted EBITDA.

The company said it has a "robust cash position" of £2.92 million as of Feb. 13, down from £4.78 million at the end of June 2025.

Non-Executive Chairman Martin Hunt has temporarily assumed the role of Executive Chairman while the company searches for an interim CEO and a permanent replacement.

The board said it has launched a broader investigation to review financial reporting and operations across all group businesses, though it believes the incident is isolated. 

The company said contracts with key partners remain sound and its two subsidiaries, Dermatonics and Bio-Tech Solutions, are trading as expected.

SkinBioTherapeutics develops products based on its SkinBiotix technology for skincare and skin health applications.

I guess we should value the difference…but I think most people have invested here for growth and not hoping to see the demise of another British company.

IQE extends multi-year strategic supply agreement with Lumentum

What a sad ending this turning into for me…I have held these for than 25 years and sunk a couple of hundred thousand pounds into them in that time and am looking at at a near wipeout of my investment.

So much for holing on for the long term…cutting edge technology…multiple patents…best in class technology, etc.

Emty promises….truly a personal disaster for me and my wife 👎

I wish to hell I had read this before sinking any money into Opti after reading his gushing assessments on the company.

One bit really jumped out at me “ At the beginning we referred to TW as being a renegade CEO. This does not infer that he deserted RSH, in fact the opposite is true as RSH quite rightly deserted him in an attempt to clear up the mess he created. TW is a renegade in the sense that he abandoned all the principles required to run a public company and to look after other people’s money. Morality, integrity, good governance, prudence, due diligence, responsibility both professional and private. It is becoming evidently clear why TW goes out of his way to publisize that he has no assets in his own name. He knows full well there would be long queues at the High Court were this not to be the case.”

What a tawdry shameful record he has according to that expose.

We do not have much to cheer about with IQE at the moment, but I guess the fact that some of the directors have enough confidence to take some shares instead of a full salary is a good sign. Mind you they do not have to wait too long to cash them in…2026

As previously disclosed, from 1 May 2025 Mark and Jutta received fee/salary adjustments to reflect their increased responsibilities and workloads as Executive Chair and Chief Executive Officer. With the Board's agreement and effective from 1 July until 31 December 2025, Mark and Jutta have opted for their pay adjustments to be received as Options under the LTIP. Mark has received 423,209 Options and Jutta has received 766,683 Options. The Options will vest monthly but will not be exercisable until the start of 2026. Other members of the Executive Leadership Team have also opted for a proportion of their pay to be received in Options under the same conditions.

Where is the manufacturing going to take place…mainlands Europe or Wales?

I have no words to express my disappointment in IQE and the current debacle.

I had invested very heavily in this company in the hope that they would boost my pension in retirement…this is absolutely brutal.

I had hoped that Lomas would be the person to turn the company around and his 5 year plan and industry contacts would help us secure a great future.

World leading technology doesn’t seem to make a blind bit of difference. I could see another company snapping us up for next to nothing at these ridiculously low prices.

This has turned into a proper car crash and is falling off a cliff with little or no comment.

So much for TW banging on about how good a share Opti was…we have been on a downward trajectory for the last couple of years and all we hear are snake oil salespeople blowing smoke up our backsides!

Having just read the OPT RNS rebuttal this morning, I am now convinced that the PBX directors need to be removed.

It has also sadly shone a light on the murky and underhand way that some company directors treat shareholders and do really have the shareholders best interests at heart.

The stark difference between the two company RNS’s really highlights the way shareholders can be misled, the fact according to the OPTI RNS, PBX were looking to take the company into private ownership really sticks in my throat.

We have already been massively diluted and not given the full facts in timely and honest manner IMHO.

I hope the right thing happens and both companies do not suffer too much damage…the whole thing stinks and neither company has done very well for the long term shareholders who have helped bankroll them during this long and torturous journey.

The FCA do not seem to be able to very much when it comes to corporate governance and rooting out malpractice when it is patently obvious.

It seemed to be a well written and reasoned argument to me, the fact that Opti are trying to control their independence seems pretty obvious and I can see a future scenario where Opti begin to drain the life blood from them just to keep Opti limping along.

SOH is failing miserably just now as is very clearly pointed out in this statement…it was a tough read and made me change my mind.
