I've had one read through it and I'm disappointed... very disappointed! I'll comment more later!

Acker - you were right to caution everyone!

Confirmation that the RBZ has collected lots of diamonds recently... sufficient to compensate VAST if, just in case (you never know, stranger things have happened) our bag of diamonds has gotten mixed up with someone elses!

AP has been issuing loads of RNS's lately... must be due another one anytime soon.

Acker - the wording of the RNS isn't helpful but it says that Premier will 'draw down' immediately on the announcement of the deal. A draw down is, to me, actually taking the cash. The shares will have had to have been sold prior to that and the funds cleared. The 'utilisation request', I think has already been submitted... possibly last week and possibly right after the RNS was issued. I think it's a mistake to assume that the shares are being sold today or after the next RNS.

Biztech - another interesting video. These have been a great addition to the debate.

On the sale of GR's £2m shares, I don't think that you have contemplated whether they have already been sold and whether they would have been/will be sold on the open market or to a single party privately... what do you think?

Jenkoo - I agree with your analysis and I would follow on with that last point... I wonder what GR has got Stark paying for.

Fair points, johnnypc. I'm expecting that there will be some movement in price and timescale but, as you say, it depends how much movement. My point is/was that GR had put himself in to a strong position so there's no need to give too much away but let's see what transpires.

Acker - as I said earlier, I can see where you're coming from.

I do think GR played a blinder in keeping the wolves away. He managed to put Prem into an impenetrable position - remember, Canmax were going to walk away. If he has then done a poor deal given the strength of his position then that would be very disappointing. I'm hoping that we'll be pleasantly surprised.

The details of the deal haven't been announced yet and until we get them, there does appear to be a lot of reservation. I do see where Acker is coming from.

My focus will be on Stark - revised timescale for handover and production, what are they paying for and what is Prem paying for. We know that there is a delay but the market might be disappointed at the scale of the delay.

Canmax - I hope that GR has not given them too much. I'm OK with them getting a higher % of production until they're repaid but I'd be disappointed if they get a lower price for the spod.

BTW - what has been leaked?

I think that we'll get an RNS confirming GR's share sale first - once that confirmation is out of the way then the sp should bounce. We might also get an RNS confirming that some other holder has bought those shares direct from GR.

Acker - we need the 2nd RNS to explain the deal and the new production schedule. For LTH's, I don't think we've got anything to worry about, vis a vis, the current share price. In fact, for me, there's the prospect of seeing some movement on a 2nd plant, Li3 and the EPO sooner than I had anticipated. I'm sure GR will do a Stockbox this week and I hope that he'll say something about this.

Traders are doing their worst today to create more uncertainty and jeopardy but what's that old adage about the patient and impatient?

Romanwolf - timing.

It is highly unlikely that GR has sold the shares in the open market and zero chance that he's sold them to Canmax. Wouldn't be surprised if he has sold them to one of his mates or a small cohort to hold them in safe-keeping. He'll want those shares back at some stage. GR will still be very much alive to retaining power over Prem.

Romanwolf - yes.

I'll repeat again for those who are being mischevious - the shares need to have been sold and funds cleared so that the drawdown can start immediately the announcement is made. That means the shares will most likely already have been sold!

To draw down the cash, the shares need to have been sold already. I think GR started selling them as soon as the RNS was issued last week. Should get a RNS on this at some stage this week.

It is completely misleading to imply that 5 billion new shares are hitting the market today... the motion was to have 5 billion headroom with the option to issue more shares at some stage in the future. There is no RNS which states that those shares are being issued today for trading!

Those that are misleading are either ignorant, lazy or devious... perhaps, all three!

If the loan is being funded by selling shares then those shares could have been sold last week.

hope you've had a good weekend. You asked what I thought earlier and I think I'm more bullish than your good self... I acknowledge your points and I guess we'll get further insight from the RNS tomorrow or Tuesday.

I posted that it was a red or black situation last week and it appears that a lot of folk decided to sell on Friday without the sp dropping I might add - someone was happily hoovering up those shares. If the vote had gone the wrong way then it would have been carnage tomorrow. Prem was in a precarious situation and most of those risks have been taken off the table due to the vote going the right way. Demand for Prem shares is going to grow and I'm afraid that some of those who sold on Friday or in the last couple of weeks are going to find it much more expensive to get back in.

The big picture looks massively better now... GR's loan should ensure that there is no dilution for Zulu for a while or at all. Everybody should remember that the FM and the headroom vote had more to do with GR defending us shareholders than anything else but the headroom now raises the prospect of funding another plant in the not too distant future at Zulu and/or a plant at Li3 and more work on the EPO area. Have to repeat again (because I've been so hard on him in the past) that GR has done an outstanding job in defending Prem.

For me, Stark now become the key focus - I think(?) they're motivated and incentivised to get the job done asap but I want to know more about the revised timetable, what they are paying for and what Prem are paying for.

Life is never dull at Prem!!! Looking forward to a very blue week. I think we'll hit 1p again at some stage this week.

I'd say a win for the small investor!
