RE: sp25 Jun 2022 13:06
It's a real puzzle why the sp reaction yesterday was so muted.
The pilot plant and timescale suggest an urgency that hasn't ever been seen in GR... which I'm pleased about... but, perhaps, the market just doesn't believe that GR will deliver in that timescale. I'm guessing that the market didn't like the fact that GR has put up all of Zulu as security too... could GR make such a mess that he loses an asset to Suzhou that's potentially worth billions for the sake of a $36m loan? With the timescale and the security, does the market believe that GR has been royally set up for a fall and that Suzhou will get it all for virtually nothing?
Just trying to explain the market reaction yesterday... nothing more.
Going forward, as has been said so many times before by so many of us, I'd like to see regular updates on progress from GR.
On the subject of SK (and the Pandora Group?) having the inside track on a pilot mine and the dates before anyone else, you have to ask yourself whether this is a healthy, ethically right situation that someone is getting preferential treatment and access to info before anyone else... some would say that it's insider trading... I'm not naive enough to think that it doesn't go on and good on SK for getting the info... my problem is with whoever thinks that it's ok to give someone info before the market and the rest of us!
