Aim/the results wasnt that bad, we had a slow down in the UK but we are doing ok in Australia. We know the economy in the UK is sluggish but with cuts in interest rates baked in, things should start to improve.

I did top slice this morning after seeing the results but im still bullish

Many of our funds are underperforming but i feel the tide is turning. Someone is buying ,i expect to see an offer soon

Hyki/ i expect the recovery has been better because of our results came out just after the pullback. LSEG come out tomorrow, when the market examines them, they will also see a strong recovery

Golf/I agree ,as investors, we look for quality at the right price, its not often we get the opportunity to buy at these prices.

The market hates uncertainty, so a depressed SP will probably go on for sometime. My guess is about 2 years until the market decides AI is a positive, not negative. On the bright side i can see this doubling in 3 years. My average is £77 and i am adding at these levels.

I expect the market is pricing in a cut in interest rates which is now baked in for March.

Pedro/ thanks for posting the report. It was interesting to see the change in his top ten. His favourite software stocks RELX and LSEG are still in the top ten. Gone are Rightmove,Experian and Sage, that says it all.

Its a funny old world! We have 3 short positions and Kelso have just bought £1.8M worth of shares.

Bigdad/ i can understand Anthropic buying us, we have the data, why should we invest in them?

The reason i doubled down last week is i expect our customers will stay. We give them a high quality service with consistency and reliability. In fact i expect AI to benefit RELX. I may be wrong only time will tell
