Everyone has been fooled - UBS , Piper, Veles Capital, Blackrock, SP Angel, Citic, the Japanese Consortium, we should all bow to your infinite knowledge and claiirvoyance lol....

My guess is that we were nearly there some time ago around Feb and then the Japanese came in with a huge bid and the board had to quickly reassess all the options.

MS - So why have Blackrock increased their holdings as the share price has decreased, very strange algorithm at work there?

We have a UK company owning valuable assets in Russia, with Chinese (CITIC) involvement, a Japanese Office, a new South African director, a Swiss Company UBS considering offers , a global lawyer D L Piper looking at the small print.
Is anyone surprised that this is taking time to resolve, whatever the outcome it's going to be massive.

My thoughts on where we are now.
New private investors looking at the chart will see that the price has risen considerably over the past year and after the fall back over the last few months are reluctant to invest and don't understand the potential future gains.
On the other hand the PI's who have bought in and made some profit are slowly ebbing away due to the time the deal is taking to conclude. In the meantime the Institutional Investors are happy to take shares at this level.
Nothing sinister in all this just the impatience from the average investor who wants an overnight profit.
Very happy to sit tight and wait it out, for 70p plus in the short term or £5.00 in a few years time.

I have been looking at investing in HTWG which is a hydrogen ETF run by L & G.
It is an investment into companies in the hydrogen sector and the price is about equal to the NAV.
Not invested yet, just monitoring this one.
Sorry if some see this as a cross ramp but is more a bit of research.

The majority of palladium is mined in Russia and South Africa with Canada and the US a long way behind
Eurasia Mining have the last available major palladium mining sites of any size available anywhere in the world.
Palladium is in very short supply and prices continue to climb.
An excellent investment for a company with a few billion available possibly?
