I will have no option but to sell by end of September as that is my retirement date and I will need the cash.
It is what it is and unfortunately we have seen a few investors pass away while waiting for the sale to happen ( Snowman from ADVFN who predicted 69p a few years ago and Eurasia's own Gary Fitzgerald, RIP both).
I have been invested here for a few years so have made a bit but would just be my luck to miss the party by a day or so.
I am hoping for the best but understand that time and tide wait for no man.

I also like to drink premium lager however there are very few now that hit the mark.
I liked Becks and then Staropramen and even Birra Moretti which were all imported from the country of origin.
Sadly they are now all brewed in the UK under licence and have the same generic tasteless quality.
The adverts are misleading with consumers thinking that they are drinking the genuine article and in my opinion should be referred to the ASA.
I now drink imported Czech Budvar Beer which is still made in the country of origin.

We are nearly six weeks from the RNS detailing that there is a proposal from a credible party to buy the assets of the Company.
I would say that UBS and Piper and the Nomad will have done their due diligence before allowing this information to be released. How long would this process take, I would say 6 - 8 weeks maximum, 12 weeks in extraordinary circumstances, therefore I am counting down.....

I am am unsure of the reason why they came out of the FSP.
Could they not have just continued and then announced the winning party, isn't this what normally happens when there are a number of bidders. Just asking if anyone can clarify the reason?

You just have to think how the BOD feel about the current SP.
They have seen multi-millions wiped off their personal asset base and will be under pressure to gain a return for the II's.
They have in the past taken shares in lieu of payment.

I like the cut of your jib GFD, you echo my sentiments and this was the reason that James Nieuwenhuys was appointed CEO in my opinion.
I don't think he would have accepted the job if the whole concern was to be sold off.
There will be a massive dividend for MT and possibly WK and then the company will go on to develop the new assets under the Rosegeo JV and will continue to look for and develop other new potential areas.
I love it when a plan comes together!

I think that the company has given as many clues as it can by sponsoring the ACF Equity Research note,
They are indicating what would be the minimum acceptable IMHO for the parts they are going to sell off while retaining the Company name and exploiting the other assets that have recently been approved in conjunction with Rosgeo.
