RE: PREM, derisking and upside9 Dec 2019 11:49
@CF, still loaded with optimism I see. Hopefully you (and all of us) will be rewarded soon enough but...
- The MNH deal was a bit of a 'Meh' and has added nothing IMO other than a stake in another venture, which if it is as good/profitable as we are led to believe, wouldn't have required a loan from PREM in the first place.
- Zulu we have had for ages and has gone nowhere - no need to think this is going to change soon. To get somewhere requires funds and competence.
- RHA we have had for ages and has gone nowhere, despite repeated promises, year on year, from the horses mouth. The video on the tweet you highlighted is from 2017 and proves my point I suppose
Which brings me to the EPO and this weeks meeting. I think we are in agreement that the EPO can only be signed off by the President and in GR's own words is unlikely to happen this week in particular as the President is a very busy man. So when will it be approved/signed off? Quite simply, no-one knows but I doubt it will be this side of Christmas now.
GR is, this week, seeking a signature of commitment from the Minister of Mines? For what purpose? Some seem to indicate that it is to kick start a JV. Ludicrous thought IMO. Would you legally enter a JV and commit resource on a 'signature of commitment'? I doubt the other alleged party (which we have no proof of) would either.
My suspicion is that nothing will happen in Zimbabwe now for months and months, although I will concede RHA may be electrified. Whether it will be profitable, time will tell.
Circum may well be sold and we, as shareholders will be given an ultimatum IMO; accept a dividend and shut down PREM or forfeit the dividend to enable PREM's assets to be 'progressed' during 2020.
It would not surprise me if the expected profit from the Circum sale is why GR has indicated he has funds ready to proceed the EPO and has been used as collateral somehow. Shareholders will receive no dividend IMO. I hope I am wrong but the man has form.
Time to relax and look forward to fun games next year IMO.
P.S. PREM needs cash. I wonder how that is going to be enabled?
