How do you know the product is poor? What is your evidence? You do realise all the builders are the same as all the trades work for all the house builders.
The electrician, plumbers and internal finishes all contract in to firm and they also work for the likes of Barrett’s, Taylor wimpey etc etc.

So a family friend complained, well there you have it the houses must be terrible. I have seen some of these extensive lists the hat people pay to get done and most of the things on the sheets are a joke,
If people point out the faults they get sorted and there is a two year period to mention anything else.

I was told 20years ago that there was a shortage of 5m homes and at the time all the top house builders were only managing about 40k houses a year. I’m sure the shortage of houses is still the same and the top house builders haven’t increased their output by much. Houses will always sell.

It’s a pity as if it had managed to recover I was always up for another punt in here.

Rob I’m happy either way it goes in the short term as I managed to get 1200 shares into my Isa so if it hits somewhere in the £30’s again I’m going to sell all them and buy when it drops.

Psn will alway recover as it is a money making machine that has loads of spare cash.
I’m trying to get as many shares in good companies over a 10 year period so I can retire comfortably on dividends and private pension, if this drops more I can buy more.
One thing I will guarantee is that persimmon get over £33 in the next year or two.
Mortgages may be going up but has no body realised that rents wil also rise as the mountain if buy to let landlords won’t take the hit on money and it’s more expensive to rent than to buy.
Unless putin goes nuclear house prices are only going to get more expensive, that’s just a fact of life.

I honestly hope it does reach £18, if it doesn’t rise much soon it has to drop at least £1.10 on ex day so make sure you leave some money spare to top up.

If it does drop much more I think we are months away from that. If people knew Psn advanced sales I doubt they would be selling but at the moment are are still loads of shares which will rise quickly so it’s back to where do you put your hard earned.

Persimmon never cancelled all its dividend in 2020 ad it still paid the £1.10 dividend but spread over two payments a 40p payment and then a 70p payment.

There is a possibility Psn price could drop further but there is also a possibility it wont. Forward sales are going to exceed previous years and the only problem I can mainly see is the shortage of man power to do all the houses.

I’m in persimmon for the long run and can’t see the dividend dropping as it’s a proper perk for all the directors who buy and are given shares. The current share price is a bargain as it was at this price before the Brexit vote then it dropped to £12 but rose very quickly.
We have had the pandemic which saw the share at £13 and again it rose very quickly. The only way a major drop will happen is if there is another drastic event.

I’m hoping it drops to £18 and if it does I’m going to exit some other shares to buy in here but failing that I would rather hold my other shares and sell when they have given at least 100% profit.

I’m not too keen to up my Psn shares too quickly as I don’t want to get my dividends too high too quickly as I will just end up paying 40% tax on them so I have a long term plan to build them slowly.

They pay twice a year, usually a payment of £1.25 around 1st April then another payment of £1.10 around 15th July.

Looks like they won’t be paying any till at least 2024, I think this will hold the share down and means I will probably exit this share sometime this year?

Card factory have said due to inflationary measure they are raising prices, cards are going from 89p to 99p. I really can’t see this making much difference to people shopping at card but how much will moonpig put their prices up??

A 5p dividend would do me nicely but if you look on dividendmax it has removed any further possible future dates from its calendar.

Wish Lombard would hurry up and close so I can get a chunk sold.

My average was 48p so I had a time where I was down a lot but not as much as you, it was obvious this would be back over £1.

Why pay x billions in tax when you can just invest x billions on more green energy to help the company? No way they are increasing the dividend when they can just keep buying back more of their company instead.

They may be charting card and there may be a lower gap that hasn’t been filled and they are possibly waiting for that. Unfortunately there is no time limit on gaps and the gap may not be filled for a year or more but that’s the chance you take buying on charts.

I bottled it selling a chunk for 60 on Friday, nearly every stock I have followed the share price has dipped after good reported figures but I think we will find out on Tuesday if I was right or wrong.

Galaxy, if you read my commen you would see I said persimmons labour force is virtually all subcontract so they could not build unless it was using Ukrainian labour which I know they wouldn’t get involved in.
I asked years ago why they didn’t get into student accommodation as the prices are stupid high but was told persimmon stick to what they know and that’s building houses.
House builders can’t cope with demand on this country so there is no way they can cope with another country.

Also if a British workforce decide to go over in the hope of making big money in Ukraine it will leave an even greater labour shortage in this country driving wages up and inevitably house prices.
