If it’s the same women I’m thinking of? She had a top five shares to buy last year and one was speedy hire who was 67p at the time and they are now 34p as I made an effort to follow their price after that and I have just watched it keep sliding.
Mike I know all to well how drops affect you as I recently added £6k to Ufo shares at what I thought was a bargain price of 0.35p knowing a supposedly bottom of 0.3p may or may not happpen and I presumed a good news rns was imminent. The share started dropping and it was hard to sell with only seeing NT trades so I sold up at 0.23p with a £2300 loss and the share is now 0.185p and looking to go lower when 1bn shares get added. It’s my own fault as I know how stupid it is to invest in AIM.
Psn are still selling houses so I can’t see them announcing a 30% cut in profits.
It was on the radio today that it is now cheaper to rent than to buy so we will see what the government comes up with around election time.
I’m like pandatron in that I’m in for the long run so will gladly take the opportunity to purchase more while it’s lower. I have a little direct debit set up and get £350 worth at the beginning of each month so if we are low for another year I should be able to get quite a few more shares in my trading account.
As soon as those rates start to drop the houses will start selling and we will be off.
I think Psn are just getting picked on more by people buying and selling .
It makes me laugh as even with poor first half sales they still make £160m and the company get shorted yet holiday companies and the like of rolls Royce have done quite a few rights issues over the last two years and have billions in debt yet their share prices are rocketing up as compared to the bottoms. It doesn’t make sense for a profitable company to take such a bashing??
It’s quiet for Psn in the NE region but there is still plenty of sales coming in. I still think the run up to Xmas handovers will be manic as usual. Rate cuts have also been happening.
So at the end of the article it says it expects Psn to pay 60p dividend for the year so that means the next payment is 40p. I can’t see many people rushing to buy in for these dividends.
