Cross let you can’t compare 2021 figures to 2023 figures as 2021 was a manic year for builders and much higher sales yet that was when they started cutting the dividend.

A total downturn in the market has not just forced house builders down it has forced most companies shares down I mean look at airlines for a start.

Usually there is always a big stock market downturn every 10 years and in the last four years we have had three global events which have affected the markets. Covid, putin going mental and the cost of living crisis.

Persimmon still makes nearly £400m a year so it’s not as though it’s in trouble it’s just being affected by market conditions which won’t last forever

Share dealing make people want silly things as everyone is complaining about how expensive things are but once you’re invested in something you’re hoping they raise product prices so you can make some money.

Denby, I'm ok as I know the share will recover and go higher its just annoying as I wanted to sell some for anther share but I won't at these lows.

Just worked mine out since the time I sold some at £17.16 and all my Psn shares are down £39k from that point to now. I’m more annoyed I didn’t sell some yesterday when I saw it at £16.60!

That’s a strategy you can’t loose out on, why buy UK stocks at low prices when you can buy American ones at their peak!

There is no way this is going to sub £6, the market tanks after the budget and idiots come out with ridiculous figures.

According to Sky news after the increase in stamp duty was announced buyers instantly pulled out of homes they had offers on which probably accounts for the sudden drop yesterday.

I think the idea the BOE was going to cut interest rates next week has disappeared.

Was hoping to buy into this today but the share I was going to sell to put into here has crashed as well so there’s no point now.

I had the rise on my share account as £16.60 and was tempted to sell some for to put into card factory today but thought I would wait a little longer, Checked it 30 minutes later and share had crashed and look where we are today.

Well let’s hope it stays this low for a few weeks then as I have the dividend and a big tax relief payment going into my sipp near the end of the month.

Or even patience!

The good thing with CF is if they decide to increase card prices by say 10% to offset wage increases they are still loads cheaper than anyone else who sells cards !

There is talk of it going up another 6% in the budget addd this to the proposed hike in NI employer contributions and what will this do to cards share price. If the last drop was due to higher minimum wage costs what will this do?

I'd be hhappy to put all my money in BP but there is still talk ofit hit £3.50 a share and everywhere has it as a strong sell on fundamentals.

If you seriously want to nearly double your money by april put it in Card factory, I have been buying in and out of it since 2020 and its a well underestimated stock. I'm happy to hold in psn but I reckon card will be £1,40 by april results time!

Let’s hope it’s this low when the dividend is paid as mine in nearly £3k.

Everyone had thier exit point when it was in the £17's last week, this will recover in time. No share rises in a straight line and some other shares I always like to put money in have took a proper battering.

I did think it would have bounced up quicker after dividend drop but what do I know! We will have to see if the trading update has a positive effect on the share next month.
