DM really needs to get his act together and inform the market just what is going on.

Imo he seems to have lost it.

Why talk about helium takers when he must have known the problems that were being encountered.

Wouldn't be surprised if changes at the top are forthcoming.

Looking back to DM talking about mud being used in the drilling process.

Apparently the thicker the mud being used the lower the risk of a washout drill.

I must admit the mud he was sampling looked more like gravy than mud.

So did I.

Down £15k today.

DM imo has given us no indication that their were any problems during recent interviews and tweets. Almost reportable as vital information to shareholders has not been disclosed.

DM must have known most of if not all the information that was released today when doing the directors talk interview last week.

Imo not very good pr if this is the case.

The 15% to 20% porosity is interesting.

Not a clue what this means.

I e mailed him a few times even made suggestions which he seemed to agree with me somewhat on certain points. He and the other directors seem to have given up on the company.

Given the almost nil cash balance it is most frustrating.

Five years and nothing really to show for it.
Regarding nxt the website shows projects worth potentially 100's of millions of dollars.
It could be the constant lockdowns in Australia are holding the projects back.

I have been informed that there will be an ipo at some point. This would value our holdings at about a million pounds. Given our board have decided to write it down by 50% it just shows you how clueless they all seem to be.

You could always contact nxt and just enquire that you are a leed shareholder and was wondering in an ipo was forthcoming.

If you get the same answer as me you may be quite surprised.

I think our investment will come good sooner than later.

I just think the board are letting the shareholders down completely.

Whilst I am not too concerned about the lack of any news for a few weeks.

I think just a further tweet to say that drilling is ok and that there are no problems would just settle any nerves out there.

Agreed it is very frustrating after all the constant interviews at the start.

I have a theory that it is really a cgi rig and background and that DM is actually at home on furlough.

As I have said.

If losses are contouring to be made then they will accumulate until they can be used against trading losses. Not sure about any losses of previous investments. These may be treated as capital losses and be used against gains on investment disposals. So as we have made no profits in the previous three years no losses have been lost.

The sp is very often based on future expectations of income and profits.

Until we get the drilling results amount of helium percentages etc the sp will stay in a fairly small range. Once results start to come in the sp will rerate accordingly.

So the long and short of it.
Losses carried back three years probably reverting back to one year soon.

Losses carried forward indefinitely and can be added to each year so eventually when they make a large trading profit no tax will be payable and any balance of Losses not used carried forward.

The losses can of course be carried forward and added to so they will be used eventually once a trading profit is made.

Mat not be the best thing to do with news this close. You would have to sell them wait for the cash probably a few days and then buy them back at a price which could be much higher if news breaks. You can transfer certificates if that is the case but it won't be instantaneous.

You may have to look into it.

High net worthers probably open isas for their spouse and children to save tax.

So husband and wife with three children over 18 could have 50 isas in place in 10 years.

Ok if you've got a million pounds to invest in such a short period of time.

That's why the rich get richer.

Need more be said.

Only jealous because I would probably do the same if I would have been in that situation.

If you can pick shares that multibag then an isa is probably best as you can withdraw all the profits tax free.

Roll on £1 plus.

£50000 becomes £62500.

So about £5000 less tax.

I think I will leave it to the experts although the isa option is much simpler as no tax calculation is involved and no entry on a tax return.

Ignore last post completely wrong should be 25% tax free.
