when i read the 2 rns this morning i thought ouch this is going to hit sp so am surprised it is holding up this well. was in last year and did very well but not in now .

looks like people have realised the report that progress has been made on the sale of the surplus land has been made and company expects to have sale completed in 2021.
this will result in a special divi being paid out which i would expect to be at least 50p per share.
i also expect to see sp at £1.20 before long imho dyor good luck all.

a lot of new investors here that are getting nervous about how high this can go ?
let me just say that i believe that this stock is the best % upside stock in my portfolio.
there are many stocks available at the moment that can return 30%-40%- 50% profit in the next 12-18 months but this one can do 100%+++ in the next 12-18 months so think yourself lucky that you are in at these prices and do not panic .
everything is pointing to happiness imo be lucky be safe.

my thoughts are.
1- bt scraps 100% of divi for 2yrs
2- bod buys at rock bottom
3- ft story comes out same day and then goes silent on bt denial.
4- bt denial very wooly imo
5- HMG now back peddling on huawei deal
6- HMG desperate to get 5g rolled out asap
7- what will the cost be if all huawei kit removed and 5g still rolled out.???

i have a nagging thought in my head that HMG may take a stake in bt to push through the 5g at a rapid pace.
i cannot get that FT report that said bt was in negotiations to sell a stake of openreach out of my head. ie no smoke without fire!!!
please do give your opinions and what it would mean to the sp if this did happen.

the worst thing that can happen here is a lowball bid from betfred or anyone else.
yes you would make money but we would miss out on a lot more upside over the next 2-3 years.
imho this stock will be £2 by xmas and £3+ by xmas 2022.
you do not get many chances like this in a top 250 stock grab it while you can.

hi i just wanted to make a comment about negative posters on BB whenever i get interested in a sector part of my research includes reading others comments as i like to get a feeling for the sentiment in a stock. about 5 weeks ago i decided i wanted some exposure in the insurance sector and narrowed it down to av and dlg after reading this BB i decided that although the sp was very attractive the sentiment was awful so i invested in dlg so it just goes to show negativity can have an influence. i also was tempted by bt but for the same reason backed away.

well i think the hmg was between a rock and a hardplace the virus was here and we did not have the hospital facilities or the testing capacity to control the situation so they just tried to follow other countries examples . ie shutdown after all the first job of a govt is to protect its citizens .
the call of the pra was not aimed at companies like DLG but it just did a blanket hit on all banks & insurance companies so as to cover every angle .
DLG wil be swimming in cash by the end of the Q2 and imo restart the divi with hmg blessing .
so dont worry about your divi you will get it and possibly a special one at the end of year as well.

think you are right about divi they were only keeping pra happy when they with held the divi and with this shutdown profits will be considerably higher so am confident that we will receive some kind of divi before year end inho

i saw the share prophets podcast at the weekend and bought in this morning having never heard of this stock before.
tw has also bought in and he will be putting a lot of news out on this in the coming weeks/months so expect a lot more exposure/investors .

same time a 22m buy on lloyds bank ?? ordinary trade

alto i think you are being too pessimistic i bought back into wmh for the same reasons as crystalball highlights.
however i do agree that the market is in a mess and could fall further.
however wmh is already in a takeover position which would command a increase on the current sp and the divi is very unlikely to be cut.
this gives me confidence.

well i decided enough is enough so have bought back in at 105 no market can fall forever.

another stock i hold has a factory in china and has reported that it remained closed for 4 weeks after the chinese holiday but has now reopened and is back in production but not yet at full capacity due to travel restrictions.

i had a donkey once just got it living on nothing and the damned thing died on me.

chilting you are right hydrogen is the answer for heavy load vehicles ie hgv etc batteries will never have the power to pull a 40ft trailer full of goods down the motorway.

thankyou alto1 very interesting report i recently sold out wmh after continuous uk gvm interference which has hit sp have been waiting for some good news from usa.

well skindle you took the p**s when i bought a small amount at 6.57 and stated that it could go as low as 6.30 well it did and yes i did load up heavy.
