velo have just read your post quickly once so am i right in saying that you believe that having got Q1 AND Q2 wrong they are just edging there bets and upping the full year forecast to 2b in the small print to make it look like they are right overall.

this is the strongest day i have seen for two weeks so hoping it will hold

but can they hold the divi and pay the cost of the fibre rollout

well fleccy if you are right it is going to be a long old stand off unless the divi takes a big cut.

dt 12.6% was the only logical reason i could come up with but could not figure out why so maybe you are right or is the sp being driven down again for them to now make a bid which is not really logical as they could have done that when it was in the 150s

so basically we have some very experienced investors here with many years of experience and shall we say some amateurs as well myself included and loads of dividend collectors who seem to believe that the sp is of no importance .
but i have not read one single convincing statement that gives any logical reason why this is tanking on a daily basis ???

have taken a small holding this morning but still wouldn't be surprised if it went down to close to 630 we will see.

think this could go down to 630 ?

imho 34p will be a profit taking point but once cracked straight upto 40p

sold out yesterday wil see 1 .65 today will let things settle down then come back

casapinos everything you say on this subject makes sense to me . have not got deep into my research as yet but was just wondering what your thoughts are on the dividend if it is cut that may have a negative effect on the sp ?

never seen another bb like this one most are just rampers or derampers so it makes a change to read constructive views and opinions.

it would make no difference to the the overall uk bookies profits if they did ban vip bonuses promotions etc as all the bookies do it so it would just level the playing field out and put the people whos job it is to come up with these promotions out of a job .

anyway i am only in this because of the us expansion that is a game changer that i am willing to BET ON!!!

i see wmh as a 2-3 year investment and impossible to predict the sp in the near future am hoping for good figures in the next set of results and then an increase in sp but as you say divi is good and i believe the bod are lining the company up to take advantage of what will be a huge usa market over the next few years.
i got in at 1.79 so have no problems at the moment but time will tell good luck to all here

well done for getting out chancers have seen your posts on bids bb and you have now figured the truth out i have been watching this share for months but was always suspicious and never invested there is so much corruption on aim that i very rarely invest now got burnt to hell on esl and learn my lesson there are some good companies on aim but i look very carefully at the bod as much as the company itself

forget the politics it will take them forever and dont think it is going to happen as all it would do is turn the betting indusry into the black market there will always be irresponsible gamblers the nanny state cannot wrap everyone in cotton wool.
the us market is going to be huge and the days of the betting shop on the high street are numbered.
get out of bids while you still can they are burning cash like there is no tomorrow on all those fancy new employees they have been recruiting recently and new revenue is minimal.
