The funny thing is he used to ramp the sh&t out of this share, although now he is like an embittered ex.

Yes jazim - I’ve often thought the directors holdings were on the small size, and I have more than any of these guys.

However, take heart that the money man, Russ Shaw, the Chief Financial Officer has the biggest holding.

I mean - here’s my trail of thought 💭

1/ NICE accreditation was a transformational moment for GDR - why wasn’t this shouted from the rooftops - on the likes of London South East, StockBox Media, or Proactive Investor. It is customary for AIM listed companies to do such interviews at important times. Look up examples from the likes of KOD or HE1. However, if JC knew his fate last week it would be understandable why he wouldn’t want to stomach an interview and talk about the future.

2/ Why doesn’t Gino do a steady the ship interview to introduce himself as the new CEO and to outline his commercial strategy. It’s no excuse to say JC didn’t do one, the difference being he came in from the outside, whereby Gino has been with GDR for a long time in various roles.

I think GDR are missing a trick and free advertising in this instance - plenty to be optimistic about.

I respectfully disagree Metatron, with your comment GDR owes us nothing.

94% of GDRs private investors participated in the fundraise which will keep the lights on for another year - hopefully until we achieve a good level of commercial traction. The shareholders and PeelHunt bailed GDR out.

But for this shareholder intervention, with a cash burn 🔥 of £400,000 per month, GDR could have been in a very precarious position today.

We at least deserve some transparency.

Almost as if Cheek was frog marched out of the building.

It’s a bit like when the board of a football ⚽️ club ask to speak to the manager at 8am the next day at the training ground - it never ends well.

Then, some generic message gets posted - like in yesterdays RNS.

I know…not breaking any records, but it’s a start and at least breaks the pattern of red over the last 3 trading days.

I do wish Gino would do an interview, or we had a snippet of sales need to get some momentum again!

I don’t think there is anything wrong with JCs post to the DHSC - if anything it showed passion about the business and the product.

It might have appeared as slightly challenging to the DHSC, but surely Sir Ian would want a CEO who fought his corner?

Respectfully John - you know as much as the rest of us - we can only speculate.

If JC has caught wind of a potential takeover, has he left to pursue other opportunities before he is pushed out sometime down the line.

Let’s think about this scenario.

Gino has been with GDR in its various iterations since 2011 and has held a variety of different roles. He most likely had a major role in designing the MTRNR-1 and the CYPC19. You could argue this intellectual knowledge would be invaluable to a potential new owner.

Gino could get rewarded with the role of scientific officer (what he is good at) within this larger pharma company, specialising in pharmacogenetics, and would be well rewarded for steadying the ship prior to takeover.

As long as shareholders get a fair price.

I could be right, might be wrong - time will tell.

It is more customary to have a handover period with the new incumbent.

I’m sure the details will come out in the wash - these type of things normally do.

What I have noticed over the last 4 years is that GDR appears to be a leaky ship when it comes to major news - call it the tea lady talking or whatever.

This can work both ways - the SP going up a few days before an unexpected positive RNS or going down a few days before a negative RNS.

Last Wednesday, after NICE confirmation we had a small bounce after what most thought (myself included) to be transformational news.

Then approx 10% down on Thursday, Friday, and Monday?

Was news of Cheeks imminent departure leaked triggering a sell off?

Time will tell, although there must be things going on behind closed doors that none of us have a clue about.
