I attach some info on the NHS vision to have a fully automated, paper loss workplace (America call this the Digital Hospital and done this years ago). I know many trusts have implemented this. Patient information can be imputed electronically and then be accessed immediately by health professionals across the hospital departments to aid speed of treatment.

Eg., A consultant could view an X-ray result or a blood result seconds after it had been inputted into the system and make speedy treatment decisions.

What would you prefer if you had a stroke:

A/ You get a blood test taken that will be back in 2-5 days at best - your treatment depends on the result of this test, so you are in limbo at this critical time, when you are at heightened risk of secondary stroke.

Or.,

B/ you get the GDR swab test, it’s back in an hour and you then receive Clopidogrel or a more appropriate medication.

Should common sense not prevail here!? Could this be any simpler?

yes - but there is a big caveat here.

if a person had a stroke and was hospitalised in a location where the poc test was available, even in a trial, then the correct medication could be administered within an hour i.e., clopidogrel or an alternative!

however, a person in another hospital would be pretty ****ed off if they had to wait 5 days on a test coming back from a lab before treatment, in what is a critical time period for secondary strokes.

i thought the nhs was all about equality and uniform standards across the uk.

Stocksaint used to ramp this stock around a year and a have half ago, until he sold out for a major loss (he was then called Starresnstoff before he got banned from this portal).

I feel for the guy.

I think he had around 100, 000 shares at an average of about a £1.00.

He sold out and lost about £90, 000 because he couldn’t afford to average down.

He now has a large portion of sour grapes 🍇.

He’s a bit like an ex-smoker who now can’t stand the smell of smoke….you’ve all met his sort…blames GDR when we all know the risks of investing.

I know if I or any of my friends or relatives had a stroke, I’d prefer a test that comes back after an hour, to dictate a treatment plan, rather than wait 5 days

Placing things in perspective, anyone (myself included) who bought in early June, at around 1.45p is still sitting pretty 🤩…and I got my full placing allocation…mostly in my ISA.
